UGH that reminds me of like Barbossa in potc "I come before you as but a servant, humble and contrite...unleash your fury upon those who dare pretend themselves your masters, or mine" foolishly thinking She would bend to his will. omg imagine if the Force could abandon you. Like he strays too far into the dark that he can't feel Her anymore and he doesnt understand why and does everything he can to regain Her favour.

I’m Muslim, and I’ve noticed that a lot of the religious ideas pertaining to the Force with the Jedi are similar to Islam on a theological and spiritual level, which I believe George Lucas himself said back when he first made SW.

The idea of the Force abandoning you seems similar to the idea of Allah abandoning you, only because of Force-sensitives being able to tangibly feel the Force, they can physically, viscerally sense when She abandons them.

Allah describes in the Qur’an the willfully ignorant, who choose to ignore guidance and propogate evil, those whom He has not guided as:

“Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment.” (2:7)

And

“There are some of them who ˹pretend to˺ listen to your recitation ˹of the Quran˺, but We have cast veils over their hearts—leaving them unable to comprehend it—and deafness in their ears. Even if they were to see every sign, they still would not believe in them.” (6:25)
