Denial

So we get our junior schedules tomorrow! I'm still in denial that summer is so close to ending and schools getting closer. I still haven't even fully accepted that I'm already a JUNIOR. Third year of high school. 2 more years to go. Wow, time really does fly.

I'm excited for what this year has in store, but then at the same time I'm nervous and not ready for new changes that are going to happen. Praying that this year will be a good one. :)

Into the Woods

I just wanted to dedicate a Tumblr post to say how amazing the musical was last night! I'm so glad I went. The actors were all such amazing singers and acted so well, and the whole musical itself was cute/good/strange.Oh btw, the princes were hilarious. I think Into the Woods is now one of my favorite musicals.

I've had all the tunes from the musical stuck in my head all day though. t-t

I wish to go to the festival. c;

"When Beethoven passed away, he was buried in a churchyard. A couple days later, the town drunk was walking through the cemetery and heard some strange noise coming from the area where Beethoven was buried. Terrified, the drunk ran and got the priest to come and listen to it. The priest bent close to the grave and heard some faint, unrecognizable music coming from the grave. Frightened, the priest ran and got the town magistrate. When the magistrate arrived, he bent his ear to the grave, listened for a moment, and said, "Ah, yes, that's Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, being played backwards." He listened a while longer, and said, "There's the Eighth Symphony, and it's backwards, too. Most puzzling." So the magistrate kept listening; "There's the Seventh... the Sixth... the Fifth..." Suddenly the realization of what was happening dawned on the magistrate; he stood up and announced to the crowd that had gathered in the cemetery, "My fellow citizens, there's nothing to worry about. It's just Beethoven decomposing."

AP TEST: DONE

So after many many days of stressing out for the WHAP test...its finally over! It feels like such a weight lifted off my shoulders tbh. It feels so good knowing that I don't have to study for history anymore or even look at that smiling dude (Why is he smiling? Seriously.) on the review book.

I'm definitely planning on relaxing tonight. I've been waaay too stressed out for like the last couple of weeks and especially the last few days.

Last Concert

Wow I can't believe tonight was the last orchestra concert of the year! I've had an amazing year playing with everyone and meeting amazing new people. Tonight's concert is definitely one that I'm going to remember forever. I'm also going to miss all the graduating seniors and miss playing with THIS orchestra soso much. :(

Oh and also the senior solos were all AMAZING! :D So glad to end thi orchestra year like this~

Sudden Realization

WOAH. So I just realized we have 22 more days of school left. I can't believe it. This year went by so fast, with all the stress and the fun. I'm both happy and kinda sad that its coming to an end. The good part is that SUMMMMER will be here. The bad? WE'RE UPPERCLASSMEN :O And another year of high school will have gone by.

Also, after this week (especially) and AP testing next week..the rest of this year will be so relaxing! I'm ready for these two weeks to just fly by! :)
