I lowkey haven’t really given too much thought about it, but Manfred’s probably going to get killed by Roy Brown or something. I feel like since he had basically kept on living for revenge (only), he’d see no future left for him without Oswald once he achieved his goal. Which is why he kind of gets more reckless by the near end of his life & lets his defenses down…because now he has no reason to keep on living.

I’m sorry this is depressing. 😭😭😭

(This is also my crazy friggn theory for actual historical Manfred tho—I just don’t think he’d just go against his own rule, and THE DAMN DICTA BOELCKE without being on purpose. But again I’m not a historian but I swear he gave up on life a while before he actually died. Anyways ignore all this).

As I wrote in previous reblog: Maybe instead of suicide he will get killed, maybe takes Brown with him shooting him fatally too. And probably his brother become the next boss of the gang. (And I also agree with what you think about the historical one - he didn't break the rule by accident - he knew what he was doing... He just want to die on the sky in glory, not by killing himself. I've heard about the psychological term "A call of the abyss" - literally death is calling you, you can feel it and you want it. And that was probably his case. Not only he did want Brown to shot him down - maybe even try to call him in his thoughts with something like "We are mortal enemies, bonded by our twisted fate. Could you do me a favour and finish my miserable life this time for good? I will be grateful." But Australians were quicker than him...)

ANYWAYS I WILL BE DRAWING MORE—

Oh, wow. I've never thought about them as mafia au but you catch their personalities really well. The dark side of them... I like it. I have an idea who could kill Boelcke, maybe Lanoe Hawker (probably nicknamed "The butcher" - as far as I remember is flying tactic was "Attack everything") (English major from RFC, killed later by MvR) (I know it's not historically accurate, but hey, that's an au ^^) (after Hawker's death probably his right hand - Roy Brown - will be seeking the revenge and we will have those deadly rivals trying to kill each other once again).

(Also historical inaccuracy is def going to happen in this one so….its ok lmao. I mean yeah it IS an AU so I get to do whatever I want 😀) (not entirely) (but kind of)
