So, finally had the chance to do the next part.
I've been reflecting quite a lot, drawing these came out quite easy despite never having done anything similar to this before, though I feel quite antiquated with how little I know about using Tumblr nowadays and how inconsistent some of my skills got.
That aside, had quite a tumultous month with several things happening that took away time from me drawing, that just makes me realize how stupid I was for thinking I had to drop this to have success in other areas of my life. I'm older, have more responsibilities, and much less time than before, and here I am enjoying myself drawing ponies only after after 11pm.
Well, that's enough from my millenial woes, I still have two or three more updates left for Sunset Shimmer depending on how I end up executing the next part, after that... I think I will actually focus on the rest of my drawing skillset, Ponies are great, but I think I want to do more.

This is the first part of the epilogue for that blog. I know I started it so long ago it probably doesn't matter, but I still want to give it some closure so I can move forward with my crappy life.
I'm probably not qualified to portray a lot of what I have in mind, it's been almost a decade since I drew something like this, and I never even practiced human Sunset for more than a few sessions back then so I basically had to do almost everything drawn in a haphazard manner, there are a lot of firsts for me here.
I also apologize for taking the character in this direction, it may be cringeworthy, but this is equal parts a homage to my days as a brony fanartist and a projection of a few of my frustrations with my own way of life for the past years.
Getting over all that, I did enjoy the hours after midnight I spent working on this, mediocre as it is, it may not be what the original fans of the blog had in mind but they deserved something, wherever they are now.
Setting all that sentimentality aside, I will take a small break to attend some other projects and then come back to continue this, after all, I did draft at least another two parts.
Quality, sadly, not guaranteed.

Alright, I think its time, I'll be continuing this, won't be taking questions or submissions though, I still have to settle on a style and revamp the little things. I will focus on drawing an epilogue to bring it full circle, its something that I've been wanting to do for a while and I frankly didn't have the time or courage until now.

What the hell, might as well.
Felt very nostalgic after almost a decade, of course its always a storm what brings me to drawing again. I started doodling after seeing the community alive and realizing after so long I found myself out of a job and with several personal projects failing out of the gate. But a quick recap to anyone that sees this, still follows me and somehow still cares: I'm alive and well, I'm a homeowner somehow (so I'm better off than most in my generation), I haven't drawn seriously for 8 years, AI hasn't replaced biologists (yet), I haven't majored despite technically having published papers already, I'm over thirty now and the only bad habit I picked besides letting everything walk all over me is playing gacha games, I avoided the dangerous pitfalls of identity politics and radicalization from either wing, Somehow managed to enter and exit relationships without any children until now, Jury still out on if that's a good thing.
And that would bring us up to speed. It will sound mysanthropic, but I do not have ANY social media presence besides this place at all, no FB, no Twitter (now X, wow), no Instagram, no nothing. I'm going to keep drawing some ponies again but only quick ones, I've become busy with other responsibilities that keep me from dedicating fully to art, which is unfortunate, having a hard look back at this blog in its entirety I did realize I could have gone and aspired for more if I had enough of a spine to abandon my major more than a decade ago, but no crying over spilled milk. I might open an account in another social media, but that's a big maybe. For now I will just try to enjoy these small drawings.

I'm still working.
and I'm still alive.
I was just badly indebted so I worked my ass off last month.
I don't know, I was left with some void inside of me after some stuff happened, got really upset over nothing, made a little kid cry and made a lot of people hate me, eh, I'm unsure if I should even keep updating my blogs, haven't actually drawn anything since last year, only colouring.
That's disgusting.

I got a brand new laptop for a very cheap price, couldn't pass the opportunity, as my other one was barely functional, and building a desktop right now would hurt my finances in ways I can't manage to put in words.
Took me a few days to get it up to speed, but I can finally start working.
Now I just need to find me some more time and I'm set.
