i will die here

nothing in this world appeals to me more than the back of the woods, dirt roads, the sight of a straight piped old school Cutlass, single cab, or lifted truck.

i will die here.

the mountains and coasts are never too far and there are times that i travel. but this is my home. these are my people. and for a lot of y’all ? these are your roots. indigenously.

so i will continue to grow from the seeds my ancestors blessed me to have a foundation with. because i am so gratefully blessed.

and then i will die here..

my children will play from the swings and tire my Papa hand built outside for me as a child.

soon after i will die here…

i will continue creating opportunities for those who appreciate my efforts and somedays ? even for those who don’t?
