You find it hard to speak and go nonverbal during regression so you softly murmur as you grab your paci, trying to find the strength to call out for him, but you fail. It isn't too long before a soft knock falls gently onto the door. "Pumpkin, is my little one okay in there?" You were wandering if all the shuffling during your cry could make him hear you, so you murmur more for him to come inside.

"I think my baby might need me," he whispers, trying to be gentle in his approach because he could possibly wake you in case you had fallen asleep, and he misinterpreted. "Little one, baby...are you sniffling little dove," you slowly nod your head, hoping he manages to see your tiny movements by the ambience of the shadowed fireplace being the only light source on the other side of the door .

He rushes to your bedside and slowly picks you up from under the covers, rubbing your cheeks ever so slightly while you use your paci, making sure to be gentle," Something is making my baby upset , right bunny?" You nod, and he carries you in a cradle position before seating you in his lap and covering you with the blanket

"It's okay, baby, daddy's here, im sorry that something is making my tiny baby cry. Daddy will hold you. No need to speak, okay?".You found relief in the fact that he acknowledges you, and you gently lay your head on his chest

Refusing the paci after awhile, he already made sure to have your bottle ready and instead of the fireplace decided to cradle you whilst standing near your crib so that he could put you down easily had you decided to gently sleep after he shushed you.

You hold onto your bottle with tiny hands, feeling its warmth and cuddling closer to it as you feel his hands under you, fully cupping you and rocking side to side

Your crying gets heavier, and he removes the bottle to allow you to cry more easily and in doing so gently moved from rocking you to sitting on the bed and changing positions continually since you seemed most comforted in them.

"That's it, my little dove, let those tears come out for daddy," he says gently, nuzzling your nose,"You're gonna be okay, shhh..its okay but what's not okay is to feel alone during it because guess what?" He raises his eyebrows and brings his face closer to you, " You're always gonna have daddy, and you're always gonna have his pinky to hold when your little world becomes heavy okay".

He places gentle kisses on your face, reassuring you." Daddy's arms are pretty heavy hehe but it doesn't mean their big for nothing, its to carry all the weight that my little princess can't shoulder by herself, and it helps daddyy get stronger hehe.

You slightly giggle whilst tears fall from your eyes that he makes sure to catch, he notices you wanting to check the time by slightly looking at the clock on the side of your table and he hesitantly blocks it, "Baby you dont have to worry that I have work tommrow, your more important then that, nothing a small nap after dada works wont fix. "Relax into me okay, you have me forever," he places your bottle back into your mouth slowly and continues rocking back and forth until your eyes seemingly start to get sleepy and your tears dry up whilst your breath slowly changes back to normal.
