Ahhhh well. Eurasian Collared Doves are invasive in the US, so they're often just euthanized by wildlife rehabs when they come in so that they can use those resources on native species instead.

Her brother is much less photogenic but he is the nicer of the two I swear

She is out of a sex-linked pair, and therefore for sure a hen. She's a handsome little Kormorner Tumbler x Old German Owl mix, and will be a lovely dark check when she molts out. She is not super outgoing, but she is a bold little hen and very good about handling so far. I'm sure she would make a wonderful pet bird!
