Here’s some crap I monkeyed with for my castaway island, which might not be of use to anyone else, but I needed them, so I futzed with them and thought I’d share.

First: All of the converted Castaway Stories neighborhood deco (except the crashed ship), now placeable any-damn-where you want to put ‘em. Put ‘em on roads. Put 'em in lots and build a treehouse-living community around them. Hell, put 'em in the water so you can have jungle right up to the waterline. Or a hut that used to be on the beach but that has since succumbed to the ravages of beach erosion. Or simply pretend that mango trees are mangroves. Whatever. Anyway, like so:

Seriously, I truly don’t get why there’re limitations on where you can put hood deco. It pisses me off. I will put stuff wherever I please, thank you. So now these, at least, are fixed.

I got these from @meetmetotheriver‘s Big Damn Castaway Stories Conversion Downloads. The file names are the same as they are in that download. So, if you already have these and you got them there and didn’t change the file names, all you need to do is let these files overwrite the ones you have. If you didn’t get them from that download and/or you renamed the files, you’ll need to take out what you’ve got and put these in. If you’ve never had these…Well, sorry for the lack of pics of all 25 things, but, trust me, they’re much prettier than the neighborhood palms from BV and they aren’t just palms, which is nice. And all you need to have them is these files.

Get your multi-placeable trees, bushes, huts, etc. here.

And then there’s this thing:

It’s a toilet bush, also a Castaway Stories conversion. Sims do their potty business in it. It’s a stellar thing to have for a castaway scenario, obviously, or for any other scenario where you don’t want your poor pixels to have so much as an outhouse.

The problem? It sucks away like half of the user’s hygiene bar with each use. Well, my friends! As a person who’s spent weeks at a time far, far away from a porta-potty or an outhouse, much less an actual bathroom with honest-to-God plumbing, I’m here to tell you that doing your business in a bush doesn’t make you any stinkier than you already are. In fact, I’d wager that porta-potties at an outdoor rock concert do a lot more damage in that regard. So, I went into this thing and jettisoned the hygiene drain. Now the user comes out of the potty bush no more dirty than they were going into it.

Same thing applies as above: If you have this thing and got it from Meetme’s megapack and didn’t change the file name, just let this file overwrite what you have. Otherwise, you’ll need to search and destroy your current file and then stick this one in. Or if you don’t have this thing but want it, all you need is this file. In fact, it’s not even in a compressed file format. Just a nekkid .package file. Drag and drop to your downloads and be done with it.

3t2 Red Hot Dress (requested by anon)

This one is from the Katy Perry sp (surprising, I know). AF only, has all morphs. There's some clipping with the legs, but I tried my best. I made 5 recolors, but here's the PSD for recoloring. I made these for C&K's Extended Material Shader, so it's recommended (the shine looks a bit different without it). Shoes are by Sentate :)

The Apartment Life heavy metal barstool and dining chair are another eyesore set in the game: they look promisingly grungy, but IMO end up too cartoony for good dive bar vibes. So I've made an alternative!

Worn polyester seats that will definitely stick to the back of your sim's legs.

As a “bonus” Monday-download-on-Tuesday, have a few more pieces of @criquette-was-here‘s neighborhood deco with grass removed so that they don’t look odd on non-lush terrains. They are the road piece from the decorative road set and the modest embankment set. These aren’t as nice as I would like, though, and I didn’t upload them with the other set I did in order to try to fix the issues. But I’ve fiddled with them as much as I can, and I decided to just upload them as-is. The issues are perhaps obvious in the pics above, but:

The road piece: There is a thin jagged whitish line that borders on both sides of the part where there used to be grass between the road and sidewalk. I don’t know why. It isn’t in the texture. Wherever it is or whatever is causing it, I wasn’t able to get rid of it. But it’s not too noticeable when on a desert terrain like in the pic above, which I suspect is where it’d be most used, anyway.

The embankment set: There’re little bits that stick up through the ground. These used to be covered by the grass part of the object but now that that area is transparent, you can see them. I can’t make that bit invisible without also making part of the “face” of the embankment – the part you see from the water – transparent, too. Perhaps this can be concealed with terrain editing or just with other deco. In any case, it’s the best I could make them. :)

As with the other pieces I did, you can download cloned or texture-replaced versions. The cloned version will give you a transparent copy of the pieces in your catalogs, so that you’ll have both Criquette’s original grassy version and a transparent version. For the texture-replaced files, I simply swapped out the original textures in Criquette’s original files for the new, transparent textures, so you will only have the transparent version in your downloads. If you get the texture-replaced files, you need to make sure to overwrite/remove the original files, if you have them. They can’t coexist.

So, this is a global mod for booths!

At restaurants, sims can now enter dining booths decorated with OMSPs or shiftable clutter, which was a problem before (for @gummilutt anyway 😏)

At home, sims can now successfully serve, eat and clean up dishes in inaccessible parts of tables with dining booths. They will jump in and out of booths or crawl under the table when they can't scoot over normally, for example, when all entry seats are occupied by other sims

They will be able to reach plates in the far corners to clean them or put away

Download for testing Night Life may be required? Not sure if there are booths in other EPs

Conflicts - Tableware Setter (a.k.a. table_setter) - let UseInaccessibleDiningBooth load after it, and they'll both work fine - Older versions of Helpers_AssignTablesChairs, updated today one tiny thing to make them compatible

Recommended Inge's -Is Chair a Booth- global patch - lets your game recognize custom booth chairs

I'm obsessed with these booths now, they are so fun and detailed! Have you seen the under the table animation when there's available entry seat and sims try to reach another blocked seat? ❤️

Kitty Living Lowered

A little mesh edit to lower @moocha-muses' Kitty Living frames to the ground, so you can shift them to whatever height you want without weird lighting issues. Just replace the original mesh packages; the recolors aren't included.

I was admiring the lovely 4t2 billboards @lordcrumps had converted that light up beautifully at night. I'd converted these hood deco signs for my unfinished desert vacation subhood a while ago, but was inspired to redo them all lit up! So thanks to LordCrumps for the idea!

Hope you will find a purpose for these too, I think they look great in the desert!

this outfit is for adult females, is enabled for everyday and has all morphs included. the shoes are @kalux-sims conversion of the boots from moschino stuff, and the tights are @trillyke 's warning tights. there are 20 swatches.

3t2 Basketball Uniform (requested by anon)

Sportswear! I paired it with some Freetime sneakers. For teens, adults, and elders, they have the appropriate morphs. I only made 4 recolors, but here's the PSD for recoloring. You can choose if you want the other ages repo'd to the AM files, or not :)
