“What?” She asks, when she notices how much he’s staring at her– completely unembarrassed of this fact it seems as he visibly checks her out.
“Just checking to see if Hollywood changed you,” Peter says with a smirk on his face, MJ rolling her eyes as the bartender gives her her drink.
“I work out of Vancouver, not Hollywood,” MJ says pointedly as Peter orders a drink of his own.
“Yeah, okay, we’re here now, right?” He says, bringing his drink up in a toast. “Thought we were gonna try and have a good time. Vacation, right?”
MJ smiles, clinking her glass with his as she holds his gaze– the smile on his face making her feel drunk already.

okay so I have had this thought since leaving the theater after seeing black panther 2 and I just cannot finish it. but I want ned and mj to be besties with riri at mit and then they kind of become her guys in the chair.
mainly because it’s funny to me personally thinking about peter being all like you can’t remember me because I want you to be safe and they turn around and just start working with another superhero.

She’s apprehensive when she returns to LA the second time. She rents a small condo there, a tiny studio that her agent suggested when her career started to skyrocket. It costs way too much. A younger MJ might have thought it to be a massive waste of money when she doesn’t even live there for half the year, but having a space for herself that feels just a little bit like home makes it worth it.

There’s fanfiction…. And then there’s FANFICTION.
