After jumping the train, Lydia comes across a rattlesnake in the desert. After telling her story, the snake decides to take pity on the poor crow, and teach her how to defend herself. Weeks go by and two become more cozy with each other. The snake eventually seduces her into having some “fun” in their cave. She gratefully complies to his carnal desires.  However, when he discovers the price of her bounty, it seems the good times may not last for these two.

Lydia the crow is a daughter of a rancher, her best friend growing up, Mary Lou, is the daughter of a very wealthy hare. Mary Lou always had a fascination with Lydia’s perfectly white feathers and promised one day she would be her bride. As the years went by Mary Lou’s behavior only became stranger and her feelings of affection more intense. Lydia became distant as she wanted to be around Mary Lou less and less. One day Lydia’s papa died, and as a result her ranch was going deeper and deeper into debt. Mary Lou promises to save Lydia from her financial despair if only she’d marry her. Lydia agrees, but before the day of the ceremony Mary Lou’s lust gets the best of her. She forces herself onto Lydia, and in an act of self defense she jabs out the eye of the horny hare and runs for her life.  Once the humble rancher’s daughter turned into rogue outlaw, she doesn’t know what she can do to survive out in such a harsh desert land. Meanwhile Mary Lou hasn’t given up on pursuing her love, she’s taken up a job as a bounty hunter in hopes to rein in her honey.
