Which of your favorite trios would fit best in this pose and why?
new time travel yuri ot3 i'm calling nanachiyogant. why? because it's flamboyant murderer x aspiring supportive murderer x pacifistic enabler of murder (if we perceive chiyo's healing to have done A LOT in keeping pro-heroes in the industry)
i also think bruce kudou and yoichi could fit this pose
I dare anyone who is willing to draw this base with the middleone being zuko the right one being Aang and the left one being sokka
Found this draw the squad base anyone have any images that used this base?
Who do you think would win a squat contest between these 2?

there just is not much to say about the fight panels is there..
Not for the Joint Training Arc anyway. Good fights in shounen are about clashes of conflicting ideals among its participants. That is almost nonexistent for the fights in this arc. Everyone here except for Shinsou is currently a UA hero student with largely similar goals in an arc that is just a low stakes training exercise.
A lot of panel time in the fights of this arc was spent introducing Class 1B characters that were never brought up again, so there isn't a lot to say. The only non-Class 1A characters that became important for the themes of the story later were Monoma and Shinsou.
except that several members of class b were there to be support for class A during the two war arcs but only a few of them do anything noteworthy so it's easy to forget that they're even there

I totally get your point on how the adults should have prevented Eri from cutting her horn off, but on the other hand if Eri was prevented and Izuku never healed, how would she feel? Not to mention this is an emergency situation and Izuku is their most important player in this game. If Izuku stayed in that condition we don't know what would happen. Still wrong either way, but for this particular situation there are more people's lives on the line because it is technically the endgame.
There are others ways to keep him alive. When Mirko got her limbs cut off, BJ tied it up with a rope and she kept fighting - because she was another disposable character needed to tear herself into pieces for another male character.
Deku didn't need to lose his arms - Hori wrote that for shock value and painting a disturbed, traumatized child clearly suffering from survivor guilt to potentially sacrifice her quirk (an integral part of who she is) for him as "heroic", while grown ass men stand around or give up sweaty T-shirts is wrong.
Deku did not compromise on his resolve to save Tomura even though the entire world was at stake and killing him wasn't even discussed as an option, but a 6-year old being mutilated by an adult - as long as it's for Deku - is ok for you.
It just shows btw how much Eri is nothing but a literal plot device in this story nobody really cares about.
Everyone has their lines. I personally cannot think of any circumstance where a 6-year old should have to sacrifice an integral part of herself for a choice made by someone else. It was Deku's choice to throw any caution to the wind to save Tenko (where he rejected other villains just fine) and I don't think it's right that someone who he's supposedly protecting should need to cut herself to pieces to bail him out.
I get the themes, I get the point Hori is trying to make, but I think it's wrong and indefensible to make a 6-year old do this to herself. And I'd like to think that the real Deku wouldn't be ok with this either.
Her wanting to become a singer at the age of 6 is a ridiculous excuse. People who met real-world children know that their future profession is rarely decided before they even start primary school. Eri on top of it is a traumatized child who was kept in captivity for years and because of that she's even more vulnerable and should be protected.
If I sound angry, it's because I am and I find this fandom's moral selectiveness rather upsetting.
Well I can see where you're coming from as well I mean eri should feel more like just another admirer of deku should be treated as a child learning what a proper childhood feels like but we only get that two times at most
If Eri who was saved by a collective effort of the heroes saves Deku, I guess Tomura's future quirk awakening will help the injured villains - since he's the hero of the villains.
Tenkos name wow guess what looks like the meaning of his name came true!
The first one was funny. The rest of you I hope do know enough about this series to believe that Tenko Shimura is eventually gonna come back and finally shuck the name that dirty old, old, ancient, old, pruney evil man thrust upon him for good.
We'll see about that because decay is gone and the hatred is gone so chances of that happening are slim to none right now but we'll see by the way I admire your faith and positivity

@theetwinkleboy pointed out that the members of the "Bakusquad" couldn't be in the forest during the attack because narratively they were more likely to get Bakugou to cooperate. They have a point. Though there's even more narrative conveniences than that in the forest training arc.
Izuku wouldn't have been alone if there were an even number of students, so there needed to be a team from the midterms where one passed and one failed.
Also, the poison gas was a bit of a cheap trick that immediately took out the Class 1B students who would have been most useful for a forest fight - recommendation student Honenuki and also Shiozaki - before the fighting even began.
This was a missed opportunity to make people care about the Class 1B characters. Because the Joint Training Arc was frankly way too late and with far too little stakes for that.
finally someone else pointed that out thank you
I hate hate hATE that AFO pretends that Tomura has no agency of his own, because all the love he showed the League of Villains was all his.
AFO even told Dabi that for him "friends" were only sacrifices and that he didn't care about them, while Tomura is totally broken and yet he refuses to give up because who else would be the hero of the villains?
When people ask me why I think Tomura won't die? Because then AFO would win. Tomura is the last of the Shimuras alive. If he dies by the end of this final war, AFO wins in the sense that he killed them all. You know how much the Shimuras have lost? Do you know how much the LOV has lost?
If Tomura dies it's a loss to so many people.
Spinner passed out screaming to save Tomura. Kurogiri is out there???!?!?!!! He hasn't even talked with Tomura yet!!! I'm convinced that at least half the LOV would give up on their villains's dreams if that means that Tomura would make it out alive.
I firmly believe AFO shouldn't get the satisfaction of Tomura dying in the end. If only to grant Nana Shimura some peace, to honor the deaths of the Shimuras, to give the ultimate victory to Deku.
At this point I am so beyond fed up with AFO and the ways he finds to keep destroying Tomura...
Tomura being alive is the break of the cycle !!
Tenko needs to bury that cursed old man in the past. He's AFO's final girl, the survivor. With the way bnha is all about hope and changing things for the better, there's no other road.
