his grin immediately sent a shiver down your spine, and with the tone of his voice, you should have walked away when you had the chance.

"hi, sweetheart!" you tried to keep your cool, despite being on edge. "you got somewhere to be?" floyd asked, leaning close to you almost ignoring azul who he bumped into.

you thought for a moment, "not...that i know of—"

"now you do, come with me!!"

before you could ask or react, you felt yourself get picked up and thrown over your boyfriend's shoulders and he was already waking away.

"hey—floyd! i can- walk!!"

azul sighs, yet it was ignored by floyd who was in his own little world and carried you out of the lounge.

"what am I doing to do with those two?" he looks back at jade, who politely smiles.

"why...are we in your room?" you ask when floyd finally sets you down, your feet touching the floor of his bedroom. bed messy, clothes everywhere and his school uniform hanging on its usual hanger.

floyd shuts his door with a click, "more space to move around."

that should have been your first warning. you turn around to face him, his head tilts and grins at you. "you haven't forgotten already!?"

"what do you mean?"

"the present.." he started, "why did you give me a present when it wasn't my birthday?"

you thought for a moment, fiddling with your fingers. "floyd, that was a week ago!"

"and you still didn't tell me anything !! why did you get me a present when it wasn't my birthday! what's your deal??"

you took a step back seeing his face twist into a playful look, "i already told you—its because i wanted too!"

"yah, yah" he frowned, getting closer to you. "and i don't believe you."

"it's true!" you tried to get out of this.

"...nah, i don't buy it."

you instinctively took a big step back when he took a big step closer, matching every step. "you want something from me?"

"nothing, i want nothing!"

"liar!"

"im not!" you didn't realize the room wasn't as big as you remembered, and the back of your legs bump into his bed. forcing you to fall backwards on it, floyd was grinning from ear to ear.

"floyd, wait now lets—"

before you could dart away, he jumps at you at the speed of sound and wraps both arms around you. he scooped you up and pulled you back into the bed, now with him at your side, pinning your back down.

"f-floyd!" you panicked, seeing his fingers wiggle in the air. "soo..." he starts, "how can i get the information outta ya?"

your eyes widen when you put the pieces of the puzzle together. "no ...floyd, no!"

"hm?" he wiggles his fingers again.

"no! NoHo, stop that!"

"stop what?" he asks, pretending to act stupid. you groaned, "that...that look! i know that look!"

he thinks for a moment, "you mean the one you makes..."

his fingers find your ribs and wiggles over them without touching them fully.

"...you laugh?"

your stomach flips, the butterflies start to form quickly. "Wahait—please!"

"aww~" his grin grew wider. "so you ARE ticklish?"

you blushes slightly, "i never said—"

two fingers find your sides and they wiggled, the sensation immediately getting to you. "EHEK!!"

floyd pulled back for moment, staring down at you, teeth showing as he grins down. "that was...really cute."

you whined, trying to push your boyfriend off but he didn't budge. your face burns when you realize he isn't going to be moving anytime soon.

his fingers hover again, "you got an answer for me this time?" he teases, leaning down to get close to your face. the anticipation alone already had you giggling.

"you look nervous..." he chuckles, and you blush. "i haven't even done anything yet!"

you giggled again, his fingers flex over your ribs. "ehehe...floyd...come on!"

"come lemme hear your reason.....or your laugh."

with that, floyd finally skitters his fingers over your ribs.

you immediately burst out into laughter, tossing your head back as you laugh out his name. "FLOHOYD! WAHAIT!" his fingers were restless, endless scribbles up and down your sides and ribs, occasionally squeezing your hips to hear you snort.

"awwh, your snorting!!" he cooed, giggling over your own laughter. "that's adorable!"

"FLOHOYD! AHAH—YOU—"

"why'd you give me the present?"

you told him all you wanted was to see him happy, you wanted to see the smile on his face that you fell in love with. as you spoke, floyd stopped suddenly. fingers paused as he stared down at your teary eyes, panting softly, you looked back up at him.

"i just love you so much..."

the eel blinks, thinking for a moment before suddenly laughing out loud. "awwh, shrimpys just sweet, huh?"

your expression softened, "....so ..are you dohone?"

"..."

"..."

floyd smiled before suddenly digging his fingers back to your sides, "mmm im still gonna tickle ya!"

you burst out into laughter again, whining in between. "WHAHAY?!"

"well...i gotta thank you somehow, ya?~" his hands darted to your ribs and underarms, you kicked helplessly. "FLOYD!"

his laughter follows yours, and maybe he was going to get used to thanking you this way whenever you gift him presents<3
