i don't understand people hating on simplyplural for going down ? i don't like that we've lost an updating resource for all systems , but we have to understand that the devs behind simplyplural are human . just like anyone else . it's normal for them to become burnt out .
if anything , i do believe Octocon is our best option for now , despite anyone's thoughts .
i'm already hearing things about ampersand going down , so our last options are Octocon and Pluralkit , and both are syscourse neutral .
i just hope not to see anti endos complaining about an exclusive source just for them . .
for the ones who claim octocon is anti endo , take a look at this :
a screenshot taken DIRECTLY from the octocon discord server .
im pretty sure they still ban pro endos and stuff from their server from what ive heard, and that the server is. pretty mean to endos or anything of the sorts. and also from what i know they can just go and delete/ban your account whenever they wanna, which is kinda riksy imo. do what you want tho,, /lh (? is that the right tone tag)
edit: forgot to mention that pretty sure they only did that to get more users aswell.
is there proof of octocon randomly deleting accounts ? /genq
plus , i personally do not see the need to talk in the octocon server unless needed to for help with glitches .
also , if they were to ban pro endos , why would they have that rule that says they are neutral ? they explicitly state they are neutral and do not condone gatekeeping octocon or anything of that nature . /lh
okay, so we are just going based off of what we heard from people so we don't really know if its exactly true but it definitely feels like it, and we also found two post that talk abt octocon, so those will probably answer your questions i think.
