Lucy held onto the sides of the car for dear life as Tim sped down the street, finally reaching their destination.

A burning building.

“Why are we here? Doesn’t LAFD have this covered?” Lucy asked her T.O. “Are you questioning me boot?” Tim spat at her coldly “No..no! I just want to know” She spoke with an anxious stutter “You wanna know?! What I wanna know is why you aren’t out there in the field boot!” The older man roared with wrath causing Lucy to jump out of the car and leap into action with the other rookies and officers.

LAFD eventually got the fire under control and continued to help the people inside the building with the help of the police officers.

Lucy wiped the beads of sweat off of her face and made her way back to Tim, and he of course had another lesson. “20 people died..20 people you could have saved instead of questioning my authority!” This time he got in her face

Just then before she said yes sir, they heard a happy voice.

“Timmy!” A joyous and beautiful woman walked towards them, engulfing her uncharitable T.O. into a hug.

A hug he melted into.

“Hey baby” He smiled with all of his teeth “what are you doing here?” The woman with the big bouncy hair asked him “to arrest the arsonists” His boss his head to show arsonists in the back of Jackson and Angela’s patrol car

“Baby?” Lucy makes her presence known “Oh, so you’re his newest victim” The woman chuckles and holds out her hand “Y/N Bradford”

“How did you attract this absolute angel” Lucy scoffs at Tim “and she’s a firefighter, that’s freaking cool”

“He’s not that bad” The woman now known as Y/N giggles “he’s actually a big softy” Y/N leans to kiss Tim to which he accepts with a deep voiced giggle “not in front of the rookies babe!” Tom smirks “Oh! Right! Sorry, anyways it was nice meeting you, and as for you mister I’ll see you later” His mesmerizingly beautiful wife walks away

Lucy notices that Tim is still smiling, despite his wife having walked away minutes ago

“I always thought you lived alone under a bridge” Lucy walks towards to patrol car “that’s it, you’re walking” Tim sighs

“Kids!”

The Cameron’s hear their dad’s voice echo through their large house as they get ready for an important event.

The three children make their way to the main room.

“Yeah?” Sarah speaks as Wheezie, her younger sister, and Rafe, her older brother, follow behind her.

“Our neighbors have a guest” Rose says “Ok? What’s that gotta do with me?” Rafe scoffs

She ignores his attitude.

“It’s their niece and she’s new to the island, so be nice” Rose warns “That’s it? Why would we be rude” Sarah chuckles “The message was more so for Rafe” Ward sighs

The families make it to said important event which was held annually, as Sarah broke off to go find her friends (friends that Rafe and most kooks hated) and Wheezie stayed glued to their father’s hip, Rafe went to find his two best friends.

On his short journey across the nicely decorated ball room he ran into a rather small figure.

“Ow! What the hell!” Rafe backed up to make sure his suit was untouched with stains and other debris

The person, which he noticed was a short girl, did not speak.

Rafe thought she was cute—her chocolate skin, big curly hair that fit her perfectly , the white thigh length dress she chose to wear which was sort of asymmetrical towards the end and had a low cut at her chest, and her white kitten heels matched perfectly.

“What? Can’t speak?” Rafe bitterly said

The girl began to stutter “Je suis désolé!” The girl frantically apologizes with her French accent that reminded Rafe a lot of Lily-Rose Depp

“What?” He pondered “Is that what sorry means? Listen I don’t have time for your bullshit” He sounds fed up and begins walking away “Wait!” The mystery girl with the French accent reached for his bicep, which did not fail to stop Rafe in his tracks

“I’m new! My name is y/n DuPont, I moved here from France” She explains “I just didn’t know the English word to apologize to you! I’m mostly fluent!” She frantically explained as though she was frightened of Rafe

“I’m not gonna kill you, I’m Rafe” Rafe assured her “Right?” She gave a confused nod “So France hun?” He sniffled as she nodded

“Like Mon Cherry and shit like that” Rafe sat at the nearest chair “Mon chérie? It means darling” She corrected “Ok, Cherry” Rafe sighs “Chérie” she corrects his butchered pronunciation “I like Cherry better” he smirks before rising from his chair and returning to his mini quest to find his friends

Towards the end of the night the families are all preparing to leave.

“Kids!” The Cameron children hear their father call for them and they appear one by one

“This is Mr. and Mrs. DuPont’s guest, their niece, y/n” Ward introduces “Cherry? You’re the DuPont’s niece?” Rafe asked with a dazed look to which she nods “You two met?” Wheezie asks “Apparently, and he gave her a nickname” Sarah gags “I’m Sarah! We should hang out sometime” The kind blonde offered

“Sure!” Y/n’s accented voice happily accepted the invitation “yeah totally! Let’s hang” Rafe nodded “that didn’t include you” Sarah scoffed at her older brother’s advances and began to leave with Wheezie following

“I’d love to “hang” Rafe” Y/n giggles

Rafe liked that he could make her giggle. He liked it a lot.

“Really, Cherry” Rafe smirked as she nodded “good girl” he accepts

It was cold in the infirmary…but Percy felt a warm embrace. Was this hypothermia?

“Hi! You’re up” A girl smiled at him

It was a warm, beautiful, and genuine smile. Was she the warm embrace? What was she doing here.

“Hi?” Percy exhaustedly responded to the gorgeous girl sitting beside his bed in the infirmary “I’m Alistair, Alistair Marcello” The stranger introduced…well she isn’t a stranger anymore

“Percy Jackson” He reciprocated “what am I doing here?” He inquired “You killed a Minotaur and passed out” She explained

“My siblings and I diagnosed you with a cold, hypothermia, and a slight concussion from when you passed out. Oh! A few minor cuts too, but you’re fine now. It’s been three days?” She calmly states

“Siblings? Three days? What?!” Percy shoots up off of the bed “Calm down” Alistair chuckled as she placed a warm hand on Percy’s back

He eventually fell back asleep and woke a second time and this time Alistair wasn’t there, Grover was.

Grover left Percy with Mr. Brunner or Chiron as they called him here, and he got a tour of camp half blood. Alistair had crossed his mind.

“Hey, Mr. Brunner there was a girl in the infirmary with me…who is she?” He’d asked the centaur “In the infirmary? It was most likely a child of Apollo” He informed “what was her name?”

“Alistair Marcello” Is what Percy recalled her saying “Just as I suspected, Alistair, favorite daughter of Apollo. She’s a charming girl, very talented, and the embodiment of her father” Chiron said to which Percy nodded

“There she goes right now” Chiron pointed to Alistair standing in a really sunny spot

Really sunny

“Alistair!” The centaur called the blonde and brown haired girl over “Yes?” Her voice was music to Percy’s ears

“Percy here has been looking for you” Chiron explains “Why?” She shouts over which immediately embarrasses the blonde haired boy

“He’s new as you know and he saw you in the infirmary” The centaur spoke “Oh” The girl shrugged as Chiron gave Percy a light shove towards Alistair’s direction

“So um…daughter of Apollo?” Percy asked“Yeah” Alistair confirmed

“Honestly all this demigod stuff is stupid, I’m just a normal kid” Percy sat down “No you’re not” Alistair’s response was quick “Yes I am” Percy’s was quicker

“Normal kids don’t do what we do, they don’t see what we see, they don’t react how we react” Alistair explains as she sits with him

“So, you’re telling me you believe all of this Greek god mumbo jumbo” Percy chuckled “Yes, because only a demigod could do this” Alistair says as she puts her hand on Percy’s leg and keeps it there and it quickly becomes hot enough to burn Percy

“Ow! That hurt what’s wrong with you!” Percy shouts at her and rubs his leg “Sorry I didn’t think it’d hurt so bad…Want a hug?” Alistair asks

“What?! You just burned me stay away!” Percy steps back but Alistair hugs him anyways and weirdly this warm welcoming hug makes his burn feel better mentally and physically

“That was cool but I still don’t believe!” Percy points “That’s fine..hey! Let’s check out the new froyo station” Alistair grabs Percy’s hand “Ok!” He grips her’s aswell

Infront of him.

A death happened right infront of him.

Wally was going about his day as he normally would…well as normal as he could while being a ghost. Destined to roam the halls of Split River High forever.

He decided to take a trip to the pool and noticed a girl was there with her boyfriend.

They were arguing.

“How is this my fault” The girl calmly asked “Because you’re always putting your nose where you shouldn’t!” The rather tall and muscular man shouted back at her

He didn’t look like he played any sports and he definitely didn’t dress like it. He didn’t have a jacket or rings or even metals to parade around like the jocks of the school did.

“So I’m the bad person because you’re cheating on me” The girl scoffed and stepped back. That’s when Wally noticed she was holding two phones

“It was hardly that” The man rolled his eyes “Plus, look at her then look at you” Wally raised a brow upon hearing this because she was really pretty in his opinion

Her skin had a sort of glow and she had a nice body. The black cami trimmed with lace and form fitting bootcut jeans really showed them off. The girl wasn’t ugly by any means.

“Date her then” The girl sat one of the phone down so Wally assumed that it belonged to the tall did “What?!” The man responded in disbelief

“We’re done Jacob” The girl reached for her sweater to leave “No” The man that Wally now knew as Jacob said

She ignored him.

“Don’t ignore me!” He shouted and got ignored

This enraged him a lot.

So much that he reached for the girl, spinning her around so she’d face him, and yelling in her face. Saying things such as she can’t leave and if he can’t have her then no one will.

She slapped him in his face with the strength she had and his hands moved from her shoulders to her neck choking her.

Wally’s heart hurt knowing that he couldn’t do anything to save her, that’s when the boyfriend’s eyes darted to the water.

Wally knew what came next and so did the girl as she began pleading for her life.

“No! No please Jacob please!” She screamed and kicked “Help!” She yelled out to anyone listening before her head was submerged into the water

Wally felt sick watching the air bubbles float to the top of the water as she screamed, watching her legs kick, the muffled screams, and her manicured nails scratching.

Until finally she stopped moving.

With little to no remorse her boyfriend and murderer ran away.

Wally ran to the pool and helped her up. Dripping in water and tears falling from her eyes.

“Who are you” she cried and breathe heavily “Shh, it’s ok” Wally held her as she cried

She eventually calmed down.

“I’m Wally Clark” He introduced “Like…the name on the football field? Didn’t you die in the 80s” She asked him to which he nodded “Does that mean i’m-” She cut herself off as if she couldn’t bear the news

“Yes, you’re dead” Wally confirmed and the girl became pale “Let’s focus on that later though…if it helps your jackass boyfriend left a lot of evidence so he’ll get caught” Wally tried to lessen the situation

She didn’t respond “What’s your name?” Wally asked “Jasmine” She quietly answered “That’s a beautiful name” He complimented as he helped her stand up

“So…you’re a ghost now unfortunately you can’t leave the school” Wally informed, Jasmine responded with an upset look “That’s dumb”

Wally had been here since 1983, so he and the other ghosts had come to terms with this agreeably awful situation, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t think it was dumb.

“Tell me something I don’t know” Wally chuckled

Jasmine seemed stand off ish

“Y’know you’re kinda shy” Wally says as they prepare to leave the pool room

“Sorry I’m not used to being a ghost! I haven’t been dead and roaming the halls of my highschool for 40 years” Jasmine crossed her arms

Wally was quiet, but not as quiet as Jasmine.

“You know what…that’s fair” He nodded

“Seriously?” Jasmine muttered

“Yeah” Wally shrugged it off

Just as the two were about to exit, Jasmine’s friends came in.

“I saw her and Jacob come in here” A red haired girl said “I can’t wait till she leaves that rich bum” A girl with curls like Jasmine’s added

The red haired girl let out a streak followed by silence from the curly haired one.

“Call 9-1-1!” One of the girls shouted as the other pulled Jasmine’s body out of the water

“Let’s get you out of here” Wally gently reached for Jasmine’s hand and walked her to an empty classroom where Wally began explaining ghosts rules

Did she do anything besides stare at him as he spoke? No, but he was still happy to explain

“You’re really kind” Jasmine interrupted

“Thanks” Wally smiled

“Jacob would’ve killed me for what I said you to back there” Jasmine said “well he already did”

“Hey you won’t have to worry about him anymore…ever!” Wally smiled “I’ll protect you from everything”

“Wally get that thing away from me” The girl gagged “Thing? It’s just pizza” Wally laughed “with pineapple on it! That’s literally a war crime” She attempts to move away from Wally and his disgrace of a pizza

“Just try it” The boy pushed his body back towards his girlfriend “No Clark” Her arms crossed in protest “Ok then…what pizza do you have?” He asked “cheese” the pineapple hating girl took a bite of her pizza

“What?! That’s so boring, I thought we were trying new things this year” He reminded her “Not disgusting things!” His girlfriend protested

Wally loved the playful banter he and his girlfriend had at times. Especially when it came to food. He just liked to hear her talk and her opinions on food were strong.

He liked olives and she thought they were repulsive, he hated pickles but she loved them, Wally loved tomatoes but his girlfriend loathed them.

“Pineapple pizza is better than pickles are” Wally smiled in a teasing manner “Wally Clark you take that back right now” The girl’s jaw completely dropped as Wally shook his head no

“They’re gross!” I attempted to hide his laughter my stuffing pizza in his mouth as his girlfriend went on a whole rant on why pickles are good

I mean a whole rant.

Then she suddenly stopped.

“I was ranting wasn’t I?” She stopped. Wally nodded “It’s cute though” He leans back on to the pillows that reside on the girls pink comforter

“What?” She chuckled “that’s why I start these little debates, you get all passionate about your opinion and start talking but that’s good because I love to hear your voice” He says
