my fetish has brought me to places i wouldnât even go with a gun (feabie)
Love your belly, it is an extension of your beauty!
A core feature of anti-fatness is the "you did this to yourself"-view. People are very invested in the idea that size is within everyone's control. It's soothing to believe that all fat people are a small series of good choices away from becoming thin and staying that way, and that thin people are success stories by virtue of existing.
Any time we speak up about discrimination and fatphobia, someone inevitably plays that card. Trolls will say "eat a salad, pig" and well-meaning health nuts will gently explain what calories are. In either case, we're met with a "you know, you can stop this at any time." Why, if nobody was fat, thin people wouldn't need to examine their biases! It sure would be an easier time for everyone if we weren't so Around and Bulliable!
falling in love makes me want to eat
& actually its romantic and intimate to have someone in ur life who wants u to eat, who reminds u to eat, who treats u to snacks bc they want u to be happy and full way more than they would ever care about u keeping thin, i think wanting someone to take care of themselves and eat without shame or fear for their appearance is like the worlds closest thing to unconditional love

Who out of you and your bbw friends can eat the most? đ
Iâm not sure! We are all pretty big eaters! Although @blubbybunny2 can eattttttttt
(I'm just rambling no need to read)
It's crazy how much feedee content is reblogged by people with "fat fetishists/feeders/feedees DNI" in their bios
Like, I think lots of people in the world are tummy lovers and fat admirers (bc it's inherently lovely as are all bodies) but the label of feedism (or specifically FEEDERISM) is seen as this manipulative and sick kink when... it's rly not. So many people seem to really be into soft feedism, but think that if gaining to immobility and health problems aren't involved that means it's no longer feedism? They don't see that extreme feedism is not what the majority of the community partakes in.
Not that extreme feedism is manipulative or bad either! But they're just so repulsed by the concept that they won't take any time to approach it and learn what it is. So they think there's no way for feedism to be practiced ethically and write it off entirely.
I think feedism and fat admiration in kink is something that people are going to need to evaluate and accept if we are ever going to get true fat liberation. It's okay to want to be fat, it's okay to be turned on by your fat body, and it's absolutely okay to be aroused by eating and/or getting fatter. Food and fat and body worship is the basis of feedism (in its simplest form) and I think none of that is inherently evil. If being fat makes you happy and horny, get fat.
If I may add: being pro-fat, body positive, etc. and saying "eww, fat kinks/fetishes are gross" MAKES YOU FAT-FUCKING-PHOBIC!!!!!
Like do y'all NOT understand that THAT is what this is? That if you believe that, you are spreading fatphobia? Reinforcing untrue and harmful medical and social stereotypes? Cause you're basically saying "being fat is alright, but gaining weight i.e., getting fatter is not." You, the body positives, fat liberationists, recovering whatevers, are saying that it actually is NOT okay to be fat. People use "plus size" "big girl" "big boy" and a plethora of other bullshit terms to categorize fat people instead of just calling them what they are: fat.
Honestly, it doesn't feel like we've made a lot of progress in the fat liberation movement(s) (and I don't think we have) because it's still not okay to be "fat". You can be "plus size" or whatever, but as soon as you've gained that much weight, or outgrown that size shirt, you are no longer "acceptably fat" i.e., what most people call "plus size" and the like. There is a point at which it is considered not okay to be fat. We've just raised the limit and changed the terms. And that's not liberation. It's oppression.

Debunking Fat Hate and Misconceptions
Doesnât Obesity Kill?
Obesity does not kill 400,000 Americans a year (in fact, it âcontributesâ to fewer than 30,000).

Shouldnât Fat People Should Simply Eat Less and Move More?
In controlled settings people lose 10% of their weight on a diet, but one third to two thirds of the weight is regained within 1 year, and almost all is regained within 5 years. (âMethods for voluntary weight loss and control. NIH Technology Assessment Conference Panel.â Ann Intern Med. 1992 Jun 1;116(11):942-9.)

In fact, size acceptance and health at every size may be a better approach to health than chronic dieting. (Bacon L, Stern JS, Van Loan MD, Keim NL. J Am Diet Assoc. 2005 Jun;105(6):929-36.)
Except that dieting can kill you, even when youâre fat and dieting down to a ânormalâ weight.
And there are suggestions that frequent (intentional) weight loss diets reflect susceptibility to weight gain, rendering dieters prone to future weight gain. (August 9, 2011, K H Pietiläinen, S E Saarni, J Kaprio and A Rissanen. âDoes dieting make you fat? And adolescents who engage in unhealthy weight-control behaviors such as dieting and binge eating are three times more likely five years later to be overweight than adolescents who did not engage in those behaviors.
There are even further suggestions suggest that for many adolescents, dieting to control weight is not only ineffective, it may actually promote weight gain. (Alison E. Field, ScD, S. B. Safe and Ethical Feedism Masterpost
Recent events in the feedism community have made me recognise the need for a database compiling all useful resources on practicing this feedism ethically and safely. So Iâm making one.
If you are new to feedism or been in the community for a long time, I demand you read this.
Concerning Safety:
- The wonderful @feederwithbighands has some words for you about cybersecurityâŚ
https://feederwithbighands.tumblr.com/post/641980567506845697/oh-and-use-long-passwords-i-dont-give-a-fuck-if
- This guyâs fairly new, but we now have our own superhero! @feedismbatman will help you call out toxic individuals whilst remaining anonymous:
https://feedismbatman.tumblr.com/
Concerning morality:
- As a website, https://fantasyfeeder.com has a lot of problems, and, as probably the first dedicated online feedist community out there, are probably in some small part for fostering the communityâs toxic culture. However, their YouTube channel has this really great video on how to be an ethical feedist and not ruin peopleâs lives. Please watch this, especially if youâre new to feedism:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBRrgBPMAB4
- Is it egotistical of me to cite myself? Probably, but over 200 reblogs canât be wrong. This post of mine absolutely blew up back in November and is still doing the rounds, and as my most popular post i guess itâs inadvertedly made me kind of an authority on ethical feedism, so check it out:
https://justanotherworthlessweirdo.tumblr.com/post/632513996135776256/why-the-community-is-toxic-this-post-is-gonna-get
- There are a lot of misconceptions about feedism, even within the community itself. This article by Marie Southard Ospina on https://everydayfeminism.com/ helps clarify some of those misconceptions, and shows how you can be a kinder and more ethical feedist. Particularly recommend this one to feeders.
https://everydayfeminism.com/2016/10/assumptions-about-fat-fetishism/
- On similar lines, hereâs Ospina again, discussing the relationship of feedism to the fat acceptance movement. A lot of fat activists hate us, in part due to some of the misconceptions Ospina listed above and in part because our community is so full of incels, but if youâre a feedist, you should be for fat acceptance.
https://saltyworld.net/why-i-stand-by-the-fat-fetish-community/
- If youâre into podcasts, Woodâs Weird Wellness is one I highly recommend, featuring engaging discussion of the ethics and politics of feedism with some of the kinkâs most well-known creators. Really great stuff.
https://open.spotify.com/show/10RtF0mlNdkEzZTQ7Rq18C
- A generalised discussion on how NOTÂ to be a feedist.
https://justanotherworthlessweirdo.tumblr.com/post/625914600908521472/toxic-people-in-the-feederism-community
Final Thoughts (please read)
Please, please, please, SUGGEST RESOURCES I MAY HAVE MISSED. Iâll keep updating this post with them. In particular, it would be nice to have some useful introduction to fat politics, preferably an article: I remember m-ary had some good links for that but of course those links arenât still active, which is partly why a post like this needs to exist. More resources on safety in feedism would also be useful, though Iâd assume there arenât too many. Finally, not to beg for likes like some dumb influencer, but for godâs sake if youâre in this community,
REBLOG THIS POST!!!!!
The more people who read these resources the better.
great post! here are some useful fat acceptance/fat positive people to look up, as well as some really great books to read. this is for LEARNING and not for fetish fuel. respect these people if you go to their pages.

Food Psych is an amazing resource, as Christy Harrison interviews so many different people that all have something important to offer to the discussion.
This is by no means an exhaustive list! However they are great starting points for people wanting to learn more about fat acceptance and fat politics.
Thank you for this and everyone needs to reblog this.
Signal boost đĽ
So one of my facebook friends posted a really dumb article about how fat positivity is bad and people need to eat healthy food and bla bla bla. Iâm just so sick of people saying this crap. I mean seriously, if youâre going to fat shame, at least be honest about it.Â
