Together they rolled several times before he came to a stop, landing on top of his saviour.

Despite the situation, the man wore no expression at all and his breathing had barely changed. Amber eyes bore into him, ice cold. Wei Wuxian felt the powerful flutter of something in his chest. It was probably just the adrenaline.

I love an actor Wei Wuxian story and this one was all of that plus some layers

Jiang Cheng professes to be asexual, but as he and Xichen pretend to be a fake couple, they discover that they are quite compatible. While dodging Meng Yao’s schemes and spending more time with Xichen, Jiang Cheng realises he may not be as aromantic as he believed.

I love almost all of this cast paired with each other and xicheng is up there.

This was so funny to me, Lan Xichen is such a golden retriever

Oh my heart, this was so damn cute. I love a run where wangxian have a good relationship at cloud recesses.

This is part one-- ends in a good place, BUT there is a part two in the works! I am so excited about that!

When Jin Zixuan calls in a favour, Lan Wangji ends up renting his spare room to Wei Wuxian.

It doesn't go how any of them expected.

The way I want to wrap Wei Wuxian in a blanket and feed him soup myself.

This was absolutely ethereal. It was beautiful, hard, but also comforting.

I love a time travel adjacent fic AND a fic where we get a Yiling-Wei sect.

Wei Wuxian is a badass

5. Escaping the Tiger's Mouth by Elhana [55,655]

Summary:

“Wei Ying!” Lan Wangji gasped, rushing forward.

Wei Ying was lying face down on the ground, an arrow protruding from his shoulder and blood staining the robes on his left side. At first glance it looked like he wasn’t moving at all, only the grey wisps of resentment still swirling around him, but as Lan Wangji knelt down he saw that he had been wrong. Wei Ying was shivering violently, his whole body a shudder. He made no sound besides his harsh breathing.

“Wei Ying,” Lan Wangji said again, gently touching Wei Ying’s back. No response.

“Fuck, what happened here?” Jiang Wanyin said, kneeling down on Wei Ying’s other side. “An ambush?”

As the Sunshot Campaign is drawing nearer to Nightless City, Wei Wuxian gets ambushed by an assassin and falls gravely ill. The doctors cannot help him, but Jiang Cheng and Lan Wangji refuse to give up.

There must be a way to save Wei Wuxian.

This was so good!

I loved how the reveal happened in this fic and the way in which wangxian got to have their confession

Summary: They are in homeroom, the first time Nie Huaisang notices it.

I swear I've read this before, but I didn't mind reading again

And once again this fic BROKE me. I sobbed, my god Madam Yu is AWFUL in this.

Summary:

The news spread around the cultivation world quickly: Hanguang-jun would take whomever was skilled enough to take the Gusu Jade Token from around his neck as his cultivation partner and spouse.

Ten years later, Wei Wuxian is brought back into Mo Xuanyu's body, and he is awfully confused as to why random cultivators keep trying to attack Lan Wangji.

This was actually so cute! I love a minor wangxian miscommunication

Summary:

The Burial Mounds has witnessed it all. Death, war, violence, torture, betrayal, and the cries of the weak has been it's source of life as ironic as it sounds. It feasts on the blood and unfortunate souls tossed and left into the place. It knew nothing but to take and take until none can be given. Knew nothing but pain and suffering. Not until, an unfortunate body of a man dropped from the sky. A man who knew nothing but to give. And now a man who wished to embrace death. Now, Isn't that something the ghosts of the mounds could easily grant?

But even the dead yearns for someone to understand.

Wei Wuxian died at the siege of the Burial Mounds. Wen Yuan was never found by Lan Wangji.

This was such a stunning journey

I cried so many times reading this and not all of it was because of angst

I love the tie in to the other mxtx universes <3
