Roman has an incredibly hard time committing to a relationship. (Set Tiffany aside for a few moments, 'kay?) He is paranoid that people are plotting against him and this includes his relationships. He is traumatized that people have ulterior motives and are hiding their true nature like his parents and their social circle did. (I do touch on this dynamic in my fic.) He is not an emotional person because he can't let himself be that vulnerable because again, what if someone betrays him? His own parents neglected him so why would he be open to anyone else? He doesn't want to be committed because it allows him the power to leave when he feels like it. He does not want a polyamorous relationship because it doesn't grant him power over the dynamic which is where he feels most secure.

If you're in a relationship with him, he WILL see other people and gaslight you. But he always comes back to you because you're stability in his life and that's why he doesn't want you to leave. Also because YOU leaving HIM once again strips him of the upper hand. You leaving solidifies that HE is what's wrong. So he'll love bomb you and manipulate and intimidate you into staying with him.

God. Yeah. That is something I think he'd do, and not necessarily in a horny way, either. I think that, on a base level, he would see it as a way to mark his property; like ranchers with cattle. His favorite, most loyal goons would be branded because 1) he's a freak that loves knowing he has that much ownership and control over people, and 2) there's no way they'll be able to go to anyone else cause what other boss would trust them entirely after seeing it? If they were loyal enough to Roman to agree to a brand, how can they ever trust them to give that loyalty up?

Not even the TYGER guards can resist him.
