I was listening to The Amelia Project while getting ready for bed last night and I was quite charmed by their take on Lady Macbeth in episode 5-32, especially since I just saw a staging of Macbeth so overall it was very pleasant. And then episode 5-33 starts. I click past the ads and intro, like I always do, and then drunken and giggling Interviewer says Myrddin! Myrddin, Ic cealle for a medo sang! And then drunken and giggling Kozlowski says Ongean? We singað en medo sang to Mordred beforan þissum.
I stare slack-jawed at my own reflection for the next several minutes, worrying that perhaps I've totally lost my ability to process English. But no, my perfectly understandable 98% English show is doing an episode in Old English, and someone with a doctorate is credited for translation. I feel insane.
Said person with a doctorate loves this post and sends his greetings :D
