Well that I can understand. Hopefully a decent person will come along one day, maybe even when you least expect it who knows. Ooh good choices mine are purple, Ferris Bueller’s Day and probably The Office.

Hopefully! I’m not one to ever give up on hope completely. Those are great choices as well! I feel like if I’m in need of comforting laughs The Office is definitely a go to of mine. I like to re-watch it at least once a year/every other year.

Perhaps try asking something like what made them “swipe right on your profile? Though I get it. I tried a dating app once, and it just wasn’t for me. The costs for any of the benefits is ridiculous, and there are some… Creepy people out there. But perhaps the one isn’t on an app, and at a coffee shop or bar.

That’s so true-- it shouldn’t cost anything at all to meet someone. It’s..too much.  I’m starting to think so. Coffee shop, a bar, the grocery store, anywhere-- the city is big and you never know what could happen. I’ve officially deleted the apps and am just gonna let the city and fate take it from here.

I dated a little in college but my only real solid relationship was with my ex husband. And it was always so easy with him, even if looking back, it was probably just because we were friends and both had this idea of what relationships were supposed to be, and went with it, even if it wasn’t right. Now, I just don’t feel like I have time to actually figure out what I’m looking for in a relationship, much less actually seek it.

I guess that’s a good thing.

I completely understand that. I feel like getting married so young was definitely more the pressure of society rather than me being so in love like I thought I was. Not that I didn’t or don’t love Kurt, I just think hindsight is 20/20 and I see now that it was all much to fast and I didn’t listen to my gut when it didn’t feel right. You definitely have time-- it’s never too late. Never give up on finding love and what you’re looking for.

I mean, I don’t blame you on giving up on the online front. Like, as bad an experience I’ve had with tradition dating, online dating feels worse.

Well, the offer stands. But I’m sure your method is effective and all.

Exactly-- I feel like my worst experience in traditional dating is nothing compared to my online dating experiences. 

For a while I quite enjoyed being single. Out of interest what is your favorite color/movie/tv show? Felt like I had to ask.

I can’t believe people actually genuinely ask you that. Can’t say I miss the awkward first dates phase. Have a friend get you out of it with a text about a fake but convincing emergency if the next one is just as bad.

I definitely don’t mind being single, I just miss having someone around sometimes, I guess. Green,  The Proposal, Grey’s Anatomy. How about yours?

Kidnapping her… And you think that I can trust her! When you are literally talking about kidnapping her!

It’s the best kind of kidnapping, I promise. The zoo, ice cream, movie night at the apartment with Serena and I-- she’ll be safe and sound and not lonely.

Delete them, man. The best way to meet people is to get yourself out there and see who catches your eye. Go to a club, bowling or something, first you get talking about the activity you’re doing and get a feel if there is something there. If there is then you’ll know and you move on with getting to know them more, if not then hey at least you had fun but didn’t give off too much about yourself.

That seems really uncool, she’s part of your life so of course you’re going to talk about her. Major red flags. Good luck though, hope you find what you’re looking for.

I definitely think you’re right- meeting someone the old fashioned way seems much more appealing to a guy like me. Picking up on people’s vibes is so much more difficult through a screen. Heck, I’d even take a blind date over an app date at this point, hah. 

Don’t give up on the dating thing bud.  There is someone one there for everyone.  Hell I struck lucky with Chelsea and I don’t even leave the house .  I guy like you , you just haven’t turned the right corner and bumped into them yet.  

And guys who can’t accept her aren’t worth bothering with in the first place.

See, this is why I’m wary of dating again. I haven’t done the whole dating thing since I was just out of college. It’s been a decade. Everything has changed and the concept of using a dating app, genuinely disgusts me.

Also that. Being a single mom… not feeling like that helps.

I’ve been out of the dating scene...well...most of my life. I didn’t even really date that much before I met Kurt and then we were together for so long it’s just all completely new for me. I definitely prefer getting to know someone face-to-face.

As someone who has been single for nearly ten years and cannot fathom the idea of dating going well for me ever again… I am inclined to say you should give up. But I’m also told that’s probably the wrong attitude to have.

I imagine it’s the same kind of response I’ve gotten to being blind and as such, would you like to borrow my cane to bruise their ankles?

I definitely feel like I might give up because it’s just not working. I mean, not give up on love or dating forever, but just the online dating part. I just wanna connect with someone in real time.

One week till Halloween! I don’t know who’s more excited me or @inkstainedfingersfabray , probably Jules as she has had the house decorated since like the end of August

So have I! We always decorate at the end of August for Halloween and the first week in November for Christmas. What are you guys gonna be for Halloween?

I can’t believe I have one week of shows left. Although I am sad my time as Belle is nearing its end I am looking forward to going home.

You were incredible, Ms. Abrams. Serena can’t stop talking about you and Belle and how wonderful it all was.

You’re actually the only person to make that reference and I’m a little sad about that. I have been doing it since my freshman year of college, with last year being the only year I didn’t make it out. Granted, it was easier before, because I lived in Boston, but it was worth the drive. I’m sure the actual week of is a wild time.

That is incredibly sad, I’m sorry. But in contrast to that-- this tradition of yours is amazing, I love that so much. What a nice little tradition for yourself to have. I can only imagine. All of the different things to see and do, it must be magical.

I don’t know if knowing you are there for Rachel while I am away leaves me a little less anxious, Blaine. I think it might leave me even more scared. Who knows what crazy plans you might have for the two of you?

Oh, c’mon, you know you can trust me and Serena. Rach is in good hands, always! We’ll just be kidnapping her and taking her to the zoo with us most likely. 

First day back in Los Angeles…. I thought I would be happier but… I miss my family. So badly. I hope you guys are doing good, and I hope you are happy doing whatever you are doing. Now, let’s focus on being Supergirl again, I guess…
