Complained about a hladnjača (I am too tired to look at the translation for that) being old (it isn’ty we just didn't have time to clean it and it was outside of the two tents), complained about the dishes even though 2 of the 3 types of plates I cleaned were all in sync and the wine glasses were bought that day, told her that my dad had to pick up my brother from the airport, got mad, then told me to get everything back into my car (of which some of them took me 2 trips) told her that it would be hard to do that in 1 trip, didn't care, I asked for help since there were men around sitting around doing nothing, got mad, called me insane for suggesting that idea despite my family setting up 2 tents the same morning and several tables, had to say some shit that she had to call her husband who is around 50 kilometers away (I didn't say that shit), an old grandma called my dad a thief (Fuck you old hag) and probably called me and my cousin the R Slur, as my cousin and I had to do all of it inside of the car, one guy asked if we need help, I politely declined to prove a point and then proceeded to put everything in the car for one trip.

i like how the story keeps throwing you for a loop (pun intended) and you can't fully predict where it goes next

it may be kinda tropey at times but i think the characters are all likable and well executed and its just rlly fun

and also in a few of the emotional moments it hits surprisingly hard? like damn i thought this was just gonna be speedrunner pseudoisekai fantasy

but its rlly fun and i wish more people were into it

ive said this a million times before but even my most microscopic or nonexistent fandoms have a few works on ao3 or a few people on tumblr but for the most part for albus, there was none-

like i had to be the first one on ao3

YESSSSS theyre some of my absolute favorite mangas rn

Dandelion is so good I love seeing the characters overcome their struggles and problems and I like how it's a magical girl series that is dark but not that overly dark, like it's violent and heavy at times but ultimately the characters find solace in each other and stand up and fight for what they believe in, it keeps the hopeful core of the magical girl genre even when there's blood and darkness, the fights are so satisfying to read every week. Tanpopo and Shade's bond persists through all, even if one is light and the other is darkness, they will fight for each other and those around them until the end. It's satisfying to see their character development and growth each time as characters change for the better and gradually blossom (pun semi-intended?) into their full potential. The spreads are gorgeous and I like how the characters are drawn both cute, sparkling, and lively at times, and also intense and full of rage during the more serious/action moments. Battle shoujo for the win!

WHA has an amazing magic system/worldbuilding, its just *chefs kiss* so beautifully intricate and I adore it and all the characters and story are so intriguing and the art is great, you're sucked into this beautiful expansive magical world that feels so vivid and alive and there's so many different characters and all are rather nuanced and morally complex and you get to see all their flaws and strengths - like when you agree with/like a character, you can see that they're flawed in certain aspects/their perspective, and even if you disagree with/dislike a character, I feel like you can still really understand them/where they come from - you really get to see all perspectives and I love that. It reminds me of a Studio Ghibli movie at times - I also like that Coco, the MC, has a constant sense of joy, whimsy, and wonder when approaching magic - at the same time, magic has its dangers and she's very aware of that. I think the pacing and tone are very good, there's enough conflict to keep things intense and guessing what'll come next but also plenty of whimsical fun to let you explore the wonders of the magic world. Both the lighter hearted and the darker parts of the story make it feel just like a fairytale, and I adore that. (Also Qifrey and Olruggio have a peak dynamic. Also also brushbuddy cute.)

Ichi has an awesome and fun cast and I like how the story's being set up, I really hope they go more into the world - seeing all the different majiks appear is always fun, their different powers, designs, and trials, the art is lovely too. A shounen having open magical girl influence is fun - with the Cardcaptor Sakura (and Pokemon) inspiration for the majiks, Ichi's transformation outfit after acquiring Uroro, I like how a lot of the cast is slightly unhinged in their own way - Ichi's feral hunter instinct, Desscaras' unshakable aura of confidence, Gokuraku's undying loyalty for his loved ones...also this arc we might be getting Kumugi focus, which I am all here for, I wanna see more of her character development and growing confidence as she learns more ways she can help people - I really like the bonds and interactions between all the different characters, their dynamics are where the story really shines - and I can tell there's plenty more adventures to come. For a bit I was a little disappointed that we hadn't gotten as much worldbuilding/exploration into the magic system as I thought, but with this new arc we are definitely getting some - and I'm excited to see how it plays out. I can tell there's gonna be plenty more adventures to come. This series clearly has a lot of ideas to play around with - I'm interested to see where they go in the end.

yes!!!! 1000% times yes!!!! As an OG Madoka Magica fan, seeing a manga actually strike a balance between the dark, grim magic world plus the magic itself, and the shining optimism of the protagonist, makes me very happy! A lot of magical girl series' have tried to be meaningless copies of Pmmm, so having a series that is dark like this without being a copy is really refreshing:) and!!!! Shade and Tanpopo's relationship makes me so happy because Mizuho could've easily gone with a romantic or oddly predatory relationship, but she made them more like siblings than anything else, which is so so nice 🥹
