Ah, yes. Well I guess I like to see characters from a (originally) comedy setting going through some challenging times, especially when I know there's a way out for them. Also, angst is a good flavour enhancer for the softness, the trust and the caring the characters can display.
But I guess "canon" is now even more tragic than all the angst I've ever read lol

Yes I do!! Well I'm not very original, these are probably classics for a lot of GO fans but here are some!
"A Diamond Sky Above Titanic" by SeaBlueEyes
My all time favourite. The writing is stunning. Angsty, but also heart-warming. A friend made me a beautiful binded copy of it. It's on my night table since then. I love reading random bits before going to sleep.

"Pray For Us Icarus" by Atalan
Another fandom classic, another angsty fic (with a happy ending) (Aziraphale's POV breaks me)
"Breaking" by icarus_chained
I LOVE this author's writing and all the little scenes they write. Another Book Era fic. I really liked their flavour back then too.
Also, yes, angsty again. (Did I mention I like angst?)
Another one from the same author : "Softly Slipping"
Not even 300 words, and STILL. The tension, the love, the understanding, the trust. Everything's in there!
(Tbh, everything from this author is incredibly well written.)

I'm taking this opportunity to ask if someone has good fics recs where either Crowley or Aziraphale is human ? (the angst potential with only one of them being human.... Hmmm 🤍)
I adore the way you draw Aziraphale :D , he looks so cute and friendly. I also love that his pupils are white, is that the base art style or because he’s an angel? Your biblically accurate/cryptic Aziraphale makes me wonder if others can actually see them like Crowley’s eyes.

For the eyes, it was just because I thought it was prettier "chara design wise"! It looks good with his turquoise-ish eyes I guess, and for a cartoon-look it's a nice call back to his angelic nature I think. And I like that it kind of goes the opposite way of Crowley's eyes!
And yes, good call for the ears!! I started drawing by copying Detective Conan, and I work on Yaiba/Conan now, so this habit kind of stucks with me!
