The great thing about telling Isaac a story at that age, it didn’t matter if it made no sense whatsoever. He wasn’t going to pipe up with “that can’t be true” or “donuts can’t wear life vests”. As I carried on, resolving to ask Gran for story tips, I began to see Isaac’s eyes flutter closed.
Delilah: The gentle current carried them down the river to the village...
Isaac: *soft snores*
Delilah: *smiles* Goodnight Isaac
Turning around I made sure to check on Reginald on my way past. He seemed content, and was moving things around by the looks of it. He had a flare for redecorating when I gave him new stones.
Delilah: Goodnight Reginald
I climbed back in bed, and was asleep before I could register my head on my pillow.
