I think my biggest issue with SadOld at this point isn’t even that he’s such a staunch defender of what he/she/they did; It’s that he so openly brags about who he is and the connections he has with both of them on a personal level - His page isn’t just “SadOldMagician, ask me anything”, it’s “Ask the mod of ProJared 2 anything!”.  It’s not “I think they’re struggling”, it’s “Well, when I am on a nature hike with Holly or watching -insert TV show- with Jared...”

Go forth and weep for humanity and the last shred of dignity that his supporters threw out the window when claiming “Jared was never explicit!”.

(Also yes, I am aware that some of these were sarcastic, but when you’re a public figure with a fanbase that includes minors, jokes like these are NEVER appropriate, full stop)

As someone who has kinks myself, and also follows sex workers and supports them, I would never kink shame anyone as long as what they are doing is safe, sane, and consensual.

However, if you aren’t a porn star or other kind of sex worker, I don’t think you should discuss your kinks with fans. There are a lot of young users on Tumblr as well as a lot of young people who were fans of Jared. Don’t act like he’s views were mainly people in there 30s because that just isn’t true, I feel like especially after Asagao Academy came out because younger people tend to like dating games and it was set in high school.

I just answered an anon where someone was 13 when they were first on his blog, I was 15 or 16, we know that people lied about their ages so they could sext with Jared and they were actually underage.

It’s not appropriate to be sexual with fans. The power imbalance just isn’t okay. Plus, to be talking about what you like sexually, while drunk as well, just seems like Jared was trying to get fans to speak to him in a certain manner, trying to get them to send asks and such that were more specific to what he was into. Also, why the fuck does anyone need to know about a YouTuber’s sex life? A MARRIED Youtuber’s sex life? A married YouTuber who has young people in his audience and is using a site filled with underaged users’ sex life?

No, no they’re not. If they were perfect together they wouldn’t have had to cheat, Holly wouldn’t constantly get defensive and aggressive about their relationship. Jared wouldn’t have let her drag her own name through the mud while he was being silent and now he’s back on twitter he would at the very least interact with her more instead of having more interactions with other women.

Yes, if there was no cheating involved then people would most likely support the relationship but that isn’t the reality we live in. They both cheated, and guess what, people who cheat continue to cheat. When it’s teenagers I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt since they’re still figuring things out and their brains aren’t fully developed. Jared and Holly are adults and I do not believe adults who cheat will stop, I’ve seen that first hand.

Jared clearly cannot be satisfied having just one partner. If Holly plays another DnD game and gets infatuated with someone else’s character who’s to say she won’t cheat on Jared?

He started to improve slightly around the time I quit thankfully...

I never said that it was okay. I don't think it is okay, because people can disappoint you, couples break up. Having your mental health depend on others is unhealthy.

Jared and Holly are abusers. Jared manipulated his fans and solicited nudes from them. Holly and Jared have both been manipulative towards Heidi.

Also a fictional ship should not be brought into reality, especially when the two involved are married. Holly didn't even tell Ross about Jared yet claimed she had yet Heidi showed text proof that she didn't. Their relationship was built on lies and manipulation. I'm not sure they'll last long, so maybe work on your mental health and not depend on them. Depending on Holly and Jared is a bad idea, it didn't work out for Ross and Heidi and their was a legal bond there.

 #1 - I am not a cheater. I’ve been cheated on and would NEVER do that to another person. Contrary to popular belief, most people have no problem remaining faithful to their partners.

I don’t get why this person seems to think you must have cheated before. Cheating isn’t a normal thing that everyone does at some point. Plus, Holly and Jared were married to different people, Jared, allegedly, abused Heidi as did Holly really.

Right.  I run a small, not-all-that-known tumblr blog with a grand total of 72 followers.   Holly and Jared regularly allude to everything both in Holly’s clothing line (with the ‘Boundaries’ and ‘Cancelled’ t-shirts) and on twitter, where they have 229,000 and 180,000 followers respectively.  

Who is it that’s being the loudest to the biggest audience again?

And we’ve both had accounts since before the pandemic. And running a tumblr blog doesn’t exactly take hours out of a day. Do these people imagine that we’re hunched over are computers with tabs of Holly and Jared’s social media accounts open just waiting for them to post? The only time I look at their socials is when someone else brings something up to me.

Also why are they acting like cheating is something everyone must have done once? Like, please, I would never do that and a couple years ago found out what it’s like to be cheated on and I’d never put anyone through that.

Also, soliciting nudes from fans isn’t a ‘mistake’ it’s a conscious choice. If a big name a-list celebrity was caught doing that they would be called out for it.

Cheating is a conscious choice, Jared didn’t slip and fall into someone else’s vagina.

I don’t think you or I (or anyone else) posts an obscene amount about Holly and Jared - like you said, primarily only when one of them does something stupid or wants to run their mouth again as if they weren’t the ones who caused all of this in the first place. 

The cheating bit bothers me.  I’ve been cheated on; It fucking sucks, especially when it’s someone who is lying to your face about it while running around behind your back, making you feel like you’re crazy for being suspicious.  

I don’t know, and generally, I don’t particularly care so long as she leaves other people alone.
