okay you know riki right. hes in smash bros. sometimes he pops up as an assist trophy and does a little dance. sometimes hes in shulks final smash along with a middle aged man dressed like a dracula. i am playing xenoblade right now and it is pretty wild but the most wild thing right now is that we just found riki and his entire species (which lives in a giant tree). and riki is chosen to be a hero and fight alongside these ppl.
the game up to this point has been filled with death and drama and extremely hard battles and then, in this shining moment, where riki is announced at the giant tree house filled with little riki egg people, he jumps down from the ceiling and hits a guy in the face.
and then he is passed like a volleyball.
and then spiked.
and this, of course changed my life. but back to riki. the REAL reason i wanted to talk about riki is because, he looks like a fuzzy volleyball, yet LATER, it is revealed that. Riki Has A Wife And Children.
this egg is a 40 year old man.
riki is a grown man. riki has a family to feed. riki has probably gone to college. riki fucking pays taxes. Riki is literally old enough to be shulk’s dad. hhes a fuckig middle aged man and this is so mindblowing to me. so that’s what’s been on my mind recently. i needed to get this off my chest
