It all made sense, and at the same time, it only confused Roxas further. That was a lot at once to process. And whilst it seemed as if Void wasnât saddened or angered by that which he spoke about, the Nobody couldnât help but wonder if the topic was..more than the Keyblade wished to discuss.
âAlright..So the difference between us being you donât originate from a particular Heart, meaning you donât feel what would happen, differently than how we can but without a Heart it can be..dulled.â Roxas spoke softly trying to weave together a clear picture with all the information provided.
âEverything is meant to be balanced?â Roxas parroted, head tilted in confusion. Despite his over all intelligence being pretty high, he still had aside from the fighting skills, the education of a child. âAnd..maybe some Weilders could. But I know at least..in Xion and Iâs case, we rely on our keyblades. Theyâre our partners. So going on without them wellâŚwould be incredibly difficult. Though, canât you guus be passed to new weilders?â
Roxas blinked, memory tickling at the sight of the replicated Void Gear in Voidâs hand. An image of black spikes, gold eyes and a snarky laugh passed through his head. Even shaking his head didnât dislodge the sharpening image in his head. âSo time means nothing to you guysâŚhuh. But.. Something about that statement seems off. After all, if you were seperated from your MasterâŚsomething tells me that it really would affect you. Borrowed emotions, whether acknowledged or not help form a personality. And just hearing you speak, as opposed to how Oathkeeper and Oblivion feel, it seems like you have different personalities.â Roxas could understand the not understanding time, hell words that described the passing time meant little to him aside from days, an old habit from keeping track of his own existance. But he also knew now, a bit about spotting emotions.
âYou and your Master are reunited now thoughâŚright?â Honestly, he was starting to get concerned for Void. Roxas didnât know how the two would have been seperated, but for some reason he guessed it had something to do with the image of the boy who he was fairly certain was Vanitas being stuck in Siraâs heart. âAnd alright.â
âI, personally, come from my Master, but I know other keyblades arenât necessary the same. Master and I are a special case because of the circumstances of my Masterâs creation.â Void was sure this was just confusing Roxas even more and he wondered if it would have been better to just keep quiet about it. Oh well.
âMaster and I are directly connected, but other keyblades serve their Masters because they chose them. At least, thatâs what I heard.â Void shrugged again because he didnât care much about other keyblade wieldersâ and their situation. âThe idea of a keyblade being passed to a different Master is possible, but I personally wouldnât want to serve anyone else by my current Master.â
Maybe what he said was full of contradictions, but Void knew that in the end whatever his Master chose to do with him would be what he accepted. âAgain, my âpersonalityâ that you speak of is just because I learned it from Master and the people he has interacted with. Itâs hard to explain to someone who is not a keyblade.â
It was pointless to try and keep explaining the situation about the whole emotions deal. Unless someone was a keyblade or any sort of weapon with a human form, it was truly impossible to understand.Â
âMaster came back. Heâs nearby since I canât go anywhere far from him. Why? Do you wanna meet him? Too bad, itâs his choice if he wants to meet you or not~â
