“It was either that, or carry him and while I’m not opposed, I’m not home all the time so I didn’t want to risk it. I’m covering his share of the hunts with Vani.” He mused. “He’s dealing. I think he’s ready for this part to be over and done with.”

“Yeah of course. The couches are upstairs in the master bedroom. I moved the bed down into the living room for Beta so he doesn’t have to go up and down the stairs.”

“Alright. Why don’t you two raid the snacks while you do. I’ll keep an eye on things out here.”

“I’m...not going to ask.”

“Do I...want to know...?”

“Well people are different than animals.They don’t have to grow as much.”

“Thank-you. You’re a good older brother.”

“Well they need to grow. They start out really really small, and grow until they’re ready to come out.”

“She usually listens to you, but until she’s over the whole Beta popping thing, just keep it up high so she doesn’t worry.”

“No no. Not like that. But they will be born and you’ll get to meet them.”

“No he’s not going to pop like a balloon. The babies still have a couple of months.”
