“That… sounds worse than not being able to feel them at all… even if you wanted to… I’m… I’m sorry for asking. I shouldn’t have bought it up.”  She hadn’t intended to take this route in conversation… And she wasn’t sure what she could do to remedy the situation.

“Even with everything that happened… you were still able to feel them? You never felt lonely?”

“Even I like the noise when I get too lonely.” Though she definitely had to agree with that sentiment. Normally she would prefer to be away from the noise.

“So, does.. that make you like an uncle? Almost like Xemnas or Ansem. You’re like a part of Gaia’s family, because of your connection to him and Terra..” Aiden hummed, glancing down for a moment before sudden realization struck:

“W-Wait a second.. Does that mean Dark Biter has a form too like you do??”

“No I am a weapon. A weapon isn’t a person. I’m here to protect, not to be part of the family.” What a silly thing. All the humans seemed to think of them as people. 

“Maybe they got lonely and wanted to be closer to the castle now that it’s livening up?”

“Earthshaker?” Aiden paused, thinking it over. It made sense to him why they felt so familiar now. “..So you’re.. are you dad’s keyblade, or Terra’s?”

“Well… they’re usually nocturnal… And I’ve seen a couple living further down… So… I think they’re moving in higher up now.”

Shyly, Aiden took a step back. “I.. I am. Ah.. Who are you?”

“Ah…” A hand raised to her lips as she fidgeted. “Did you see the mountain hares today? I think they’re moving in nearby.”

..Something about those people feels very familiar.

“O-okay… Good.” That was a relief. “Um…”

“Ah… Y-yes. I did.” Brows furrowed at the question. “It’s all right, right?”

Well that was good, and very much a relief. “You’re welcome.” She bobbed her head in return.

She’s going to stare for a moment, before quietly offering some tea.
