About me:
I’m Blackout (They/Them)! I’m a 19yo digital artist who also has a passion for creative writing and natural science. Most of my artwork is digital, and I specialize in drawing dragons!
I’m not taking commissions; I’m focusing on personal work for now.
About my blog:
I plan to post here whenever I have art or other stuff to share. I’ve been slowly trying to get back into the Wings of Fire fandom after barely engaging with it for years, so you’ll likely see some WoF-related art from me.
That said, most of my creative energy has been going into the huge writing/worldbuilding project I’ve been working on for the past several years, titled The Divine and the Dragons. A lot of my art will probably have something to do with it. It’s an existentialist fantasy story about dragons chosen by a deity to help protect the balance of life. I’ll likely share lore and story progress on occasion. You’re also free to ask more about it if you’re curious! ^v^
I also have this side blog, which I share with a friend, where we compile all TDatD-related content:
The official blog of The Divine and the Dragons! Here is where you’ll find exclusively TDntD-related content, such as art, lore, and general
Boundaries (subject to change):
❌ You may not…
• Repost my work anywhere without clear, proper credit (reblogs are fine and appreciated!)
• Claim my work as your own (duh)
• Heavily trace my art without credit
• Do anything else that would obviously count as plagiarism (if you’re unsure, just ask!)
• Use my work to train AI or make NFTs
✅ You may…
• Take inspiration from my work without crediting me (ex. referencing my art style, adopting my WoF headcanons, general things like that)
• Make SFW art of my characters without asking (just credit me for the characters)
• Ask for clarification about any of these
Extra notes:
• I am not comfortable engaging with NSFW content (personal preference).
• I intend to keep my blog free of political/highly controversial topics, since I want this to be a space where others and I can get away from all that, though I acknowledge it’s importance.
• I also intend to keep this space positive in general. I’m just here to have fun and share the weird things my brain comes up with!
Thanks so much for visiting!
