From All Corners of the Mind

It isn't important how often we see each other, but how often we think about each other.

I'm sorry. I'm trying to keep all my shit together. I'm trying to be strong for you. I want you to have something solid. But I keep slipping.

Long nights with far off thoughts. These are times that we live for, good and bad, for that is what makes is human. We stare at the night sky, in hopes for more out there, in hopes of a better life. In awe at the unviverse, at all its glory, we stare. This is the same awe that is in my eyes when I look upon you.

It's not the words the express how you feel. It's the little things you do between words.

As I stared into the night sky, the stars shone upon me. It was there that I saw the face of God. He stared at me, waiting for me to speak first. I was only able to say one phrase, just a few lonely words. “Fuck you bitch.”

The heart wants what the heart wants. And if the heart wants to wear the face of another. The heart gets a knife.

You're not happy. But you aren't sad either. I don't know what you are. I don't know who you are. And neither do you. You're lost, just like me.
