Dan Garrett with two Ts is a whole different dude who was not active in the fucking 40s. Dan Garrett with two Ts could fly and didn't use a gun.

Dan Garret with one T did use gadgets, was active in the 40s/WW1-WW2. But he didn't have the fucking scarab that is Khaji Da. And if he had the fucking scarab he would need the fucking gadgets.

They really just mashed two different Blue Beetles in blender and decided no one would notice. Man, DC comics hates the Blue Beetles and Blue Beetle fans.

It literally wouldn't have been that hard to just have in-universe an unrelated Dan Garret being a Blue Beetle completely unrelated to the other Blue Beetles, just happening to unintentionally have the same super-name. Hell, Dan Garrett could have known of the dude and his superhero costume and superhero name could have been patterned off of him! Its not that fucking hard to reconcile shit.

Cause this shit right here just pisses me the fuck off as someone who's done a lot of fucking Blue Beetle research.
