When I was a little kid, like 4-5, my very cool (and young, she was like 22) mom carried a keychain of heavy silver charms almost exactly like this. She had a little girl and boy for myself and my sibling, a peace sign, a fairy, and a bunch of others.

She used to let us play with them when we had to sit quietly and I can’t help but if 100+ years ago some little hands played with this one too while their parent did something boring.
