what if plants and animals think and are wah more.concious than we think they are?

I didnt fact check this but i heard something about how we recently dicovered how plants have a different kind of plant version of a brain right...

Well, first of all, if were still learning stuff about them, then we obviously dont know that we have enough imformstion to determine that they dont...

And also, they are different species then us, plants photosythesyse, animals see in a million different colors than we do, things obviously arent gonna work the same way for them as they do for us, so just because they dont respond to stimuly the way we do, doesnt necessarily mean they arent aware of it in a different way...

Like, we can barely locate our own mind, let alone a whole other species.

Plus, plants dont see things, and dont speak human languages (though they do communicate to each other), so obviously theyre not gonna think in words or images like we might, but maybe they think in the same methods of communication they use for other plants, like chemicals, maybe they just think and feel by producing more or less of certain chemicals or "imagining" the way those feel, or something, idfk.

But point is, why do people love to justify the way we treat animals specifically by saying like "theyre not as concious as us" "they dont have souls"

Fucking prove it dick. You cant. Therefore you are just making an assumption that literally justifies killing millions of innocent creatures, brutally, for your own convenience.

I drew a phoenix on my wall with chalk, the right is the final result, the left is what i wanted ir to kinda look like, and im dissapointed.

This is the summary:

After getting into a fight with his former best friend and getting expelled, Gene has to go to an alternative school where his older brother goes, where rumors start to circulate about what really happened at Genes last school that caused the fight. Will he manage to make friends despite his new reputation and no bs personality, or will this be just another place where people will misinterpret his actions?

This story is set in spring around 2012 in the beggining.

Id like to mention that my online persona on tumblr is not entirely consistent with my online persona on my webtoon, because both of them are somewhat fictional people i made up as to not expose my real identity because internet safety and what not.

theres a family in a car, and a tornado behind them, and the daughter says to her dad whos in the drivers seat "DAD CAN WE PLEASE GO NOW?! ITS GETTING CLOSER!"

So, just in case you dont know what im talking about theres a question thought experiment trending where suddenly everyone is placed in a room by themselves and have to pick between:

A. Pushing a blue button

And if over 50 percentre pick blue, then everyone is safe but if the majority pick

B. Pushing the red button

Everyone who picked blue would die, but anyone who picked red is automatically safe

And i would pick red, and im going to make an anology to explain why:

You either have to jump into a lake thats full of sharks, because someone else mightve jumped into that lake, and if enough people jump into the lake the sharks will swim away, but if enough people dont jump into the lake then everyone who did will get eaten

sooo, i personally dont like using the same hair ties for my hair when its clean as i do when its dirty...

My family doesnt seem to care so i dont know if thats a common problem for people with long hair, but ik washing hairties is a bitch and a half bc you cant put them in the washer or dryer with your clothes or theyll get stuck in the holes and washing them by hand is just annoying, at least for me, partly bc i feel like im not gettinf the whole surface, or rincing it thoroughly...

But if you put as many rubber bands as you can fit on a caribeaner(?) You can put it in the washer bc obviously the caribeanor(?) Can not get stuck in the holes!

Just as long as it wont open by itself in the washer, so like, you could try putting tape around it or something for extra secutiry, or put something bigger youd have to put effort into taking out on top of them or smth, idk...

Anyway, i feel stupid for not figuring this out sooner, and its highly possible youve already thought about this, so this is just for the fellow dumbasses who havent
