Defending fictional characters does not help real children. Fictional characters cannot be hurt, they are fake and nothing you do to them will matter.  Real children are entirely different. Real children can be hurt, their trust can be violated, and watering down ‘pedophilia’ to mean ‘fictional things/ships I don’t like’ is legitimately harmful. Real people deserve better. Don’t forget them.
