There are few things in the world that can bring utter satisfaction. Maybe it's a good meal, a fantastic nap that you had been anticipating, or perhaps it's just waiting for something to happen. For me, it's so very simple. NEW BOOKS ARRIVING IN THE POST. Now, don't get me wrong, I spend more time than I should in bookstores browsing and buying those books, but hardcovers are so expensive in store, and living in the middle of nowhere means there isn't a lot of selection. I ended up finding A Darker Shade of Magic in an indie bookstore, not a regular one. So if the regular bookstore is going to order it in for me, why not do it myself? I've gotten back into reading since getting Jewel of the Thames, guess I have Portia Adams to thank for that. With that, I have a few new books to bury my nose in, and shall bid you adieu for now. Dinner was a complete bust. Having to wait for 2.5+hrs is not something I will ever do. However, having the person who forced you to go with them call you after you leave and tell you that dinner didn't work out is a fantastic gift all on its own. Update over. Ms S BoI
