Today(COUGH) it has been 40 years since the first Zelda game was released. 1986 the 21th of february in japan. This game blossomed into the franchise we know and love today. 

Zelda (and in this, Linked Universe) has been a big part of my life, it has introduced me to so many things I love. 

This wonderful game did also inspire my incidentally favorite character from Linked universe (HYRULE!) 

I wanna spread this knowledge and celebrate both my favorite character and the birth of my favorite franchise.

It's a little funny to say that Hyrule made me realise my love of archiving, photoshop, drawing and cosplay. 

Heres some fun facts for ya! :

The game is actually translates directly to The Hyrule Fantasy: The Legend of Zelda

I have heard many places that Link was inspired by Peter pan 

I was making this post before checking Jojos page and a short comic about Hyrule was released there! I didn't know ! read here.

There's actually a manga  based on the first game named [The Legend of Zelda: The Hyrule Fantasy] By Ran Maru. (1986)  Pretty good. Losly based on the games story.

Link also has a talking bird named Watt in it. He rules.

Following up on the manga, IT HAS NO OFFICIAL translation??? It was only released in Japan. It has been 40 years and still nothing official

I had a vison about Hyrule.

My boy deserves to run over monsters in a monster truck

A deaf pirate that lost his crew to sirens, gets saved by another pirate ship, whose captain is blind and he has a parrot that can interpret his sign language... and they hold hands, and do boyfriend things.
