I hope everyone had a great pride, be it people who went to every event imaginable, people who couldn’t make it to any, like me, or people who just didn’t feel up to it. You all matter. We all matter. Everyone deserves to leave pride feeling proud to be queer.
this meme is so niche
Me when my disability does indeed make me disabled: by talos this can’t be happening
POTS is so fucking ridiculous like ah fuck shit sorry it’s a little too warm in here so i’m about to look like i’m having a category five medical emergency. but really i’m all good. also to prevent it i just have to lower the temperature but not too much and also make a quick stop by the X-axis for like five minutes. i’m like a tempermental plant if it was cunty. do you guys hate me

Disability pride month or not, I want to tell all of my disabled friends from across the interface:
Buy that mobility aid.
Get the brace.
Continue to stand up to your doctors because you deserve to be listened to and WE WILL see a day where we don't have to do that anymore.
High support needs disabled people are both an asset and a priority.
POC disabled people are important to us.
Decorate your health aids/organisers (bedazzle that mobility aid, put a sticker on your AAC device, attach a keychain to your crash cart, etc.)
You CAN bring your aids out in public: you are not an embarrassment.
DO NOT APOLOGISE FOR YOUR BEING YOURSELF.
Not everything will apply to you, but it's important to acknowledge that so you have space for when something does (take this as you will).
Clock your friends', relatives', lover(s') AND your own (internalised) ableism.
Your hyperfixations are just as valid and interesting as everyone else's.
Disability. Accommodations.
You are to be treasured, not traded for.
And lastly: FUCK ICE and those pigs who detained an autistic woman for not complying FAST ENOUGH with them, because needing to have time to process and catch up is apparently a criminal offence. I know it feels like this never ends, but nothing is forever. We can make progress and KEEP it. There's work to be done, but we're doing it—just because I say that doesn't mean we stop now and pray: we keep going.
Please, abled folks, keep us in the conversation as we're the only minority that you can and likely will inevitably join. Help us make waves so YOU can have a better future, too.
(note: anyone seeing this April 2026, happy autism acceptance month!)

Hey! Wanna fuck? Meet me on MyChart....
happy pride! remember that being a transgender is everything but fiction. there are so many real historical figures from every century about whose transgenderism we aren't even aware of
hey. you have to love your trans brothers of color okay. and your trans sisters of color. and your nonbinary siblings of color. you have to okay. its simply non-optional

self shipping is so cool. There really is someone for everyone. A character you'd never think twice about is someone's whole life. Isn't that so interesting and sweet to think about? Everyone has someone..... No matter what ❤️
this pride month we’re all going to be radically pro transgender. or else.
hey so this means radically pro ALL transgender. don’t put limitations on this. all trans people are radically accepted here.
is anyone here ready for fat transgender summer can we give it up for fat transgender summer
What do you mean “chat” is now referring to ChatGPT and not twitch chat? What? What? What the fuck? No?
When I address chat I am speaking to a presumed Greek chorus of real human people shitposting on their lunch break, not a machine that devours lakes to covert electricity into slop.
"But what if people will pretend to need this accessibility option so they can be lazy! People who don't need it will use it!!" I don't actually care
I dont care if 9/10 of the people who use the wheelchair ramp arent actually in wheelchairs. As long as the 1 person who needs it has access to it.
I dont care if 9/10 people who use the automatic push button on the library door can actually push the door open themselves. As long as the 1 person who the door is too heavy for gets to use it.
I dont care if 9/10 people who buy the can tab opener, or the little guitar clamp that holds the chords for you, or the hand grip that helps you hold chop sticks, don't need any of it and just get it to "be lazy". As long as the one disabled person who needs it gets access to it.
I do not care. Oh my GOD I do not care. As long as there's a disabled person on this planet who the accessibility device will benefit, the accessibility device is necessary.
Also, if you're so worried about people being "lazy" by using accessibility devices, MORE worried than you are about disabled (visibly or not) people not having access to them, you have unchecked ableism you need to work through.

fun fact: debates about if being transgender is a choice or not are irrelevant, because the fundamental truth is of bodily autonomy - a right that should never be seen as conditional or requiring a suitable, immutable condition.
people who are trans deserve the right to transition, not because it’s a medical treatment or because dysphoria can be classified as a mental illness but because we’re human beings who should be allowed to do whatever the fuck we want to our own bodies! this is a basic human right!
The Department of Education worked with the far-right Family Research Council to officially designate March 12th as Detrans Awareness Day last year. But what actually leads people to detransition? It's not regret, but social stigma, incited by the very figures who claim to protect detransitioners. I want to hear their stories describing how the current moral panic influenced their decisions.
