I think the battle is long since lost on what the β-codedβ suffix means, but I (old movie guy specifically invested in queer coding) seem to be unable to let go of how annoying I find the fuzzy popular use of the term. This is probably a flaw in my character.
Coding is intentional, itβs a way of communicating indirectly with the audience through a shared language of signs. Thatβs why itβs called coding, because itβs communicating in code. It isnβt when a thing reminds you of another thing.

The top left box is my beaded objects. Sorting through these this morning made me want to make some more of these. Must finish my poems first.
The top right box is my handmade buttons - including my button sample book and a box of small handmade buttons. There are some other round things in there too for the moment that are only button-ish. And yes that's one huge button at the top lol.
The bottom box is my 3D standing forms and embroidered stones.

Also not shown: a box of beetles, birds and felt robots. A drawer full of sample stitching and stitched book-objects. A box full of divided boxes that are full of tiny 'components' - random stitched things that might one day live in an assemblage, collage or other larger work. Every box/drawer has small cedar blocks tucked inside to protect against bugs.
