Polaris (X-Men Blue) By Jose M. Colon After Jim Steranko (made all in pencils). Happy Birthday Polaris 10/10/2018 @mistress-lorna-dane
Polaris is Lorna Dane who is also an X-Man, an X-Factor, a Leader, a Mistress of Magnetism, a Mutant, a Queen of Mutants, a Teacher, a Mentor, a Mother, a Fighter and not just…..the Daughter of Magneto.
Oh My God. Thank you so much Genoshan. I thought I would never get a reply from you. She looks beautiful. This is different from all the others who drew this pose after Steranko. Clearly you have style :)
“Polaris is Lorna Dane who is also an X-Man, an X-Factor, a Leader, a Mistress of Magnetism, a Mutant, a Queen of Mutants, a Teacher, a Mentor, a Mother, a Fighter and not just…..the Daughter of Magneto.” And this is what I like the most after 50 years of her existence and how I viewed her in reality since I met her. Clearly she has been through changes since her first appearance. She has been up and down but never broken as she still stands til this day stronger than any other character. You description is well displayed because she’s all of the above and more. She’s also a student who graduated from college with a master’s degree. Glad to see people don’t see her just as Magneto’s daughter but as a character with her own personality.
She’s a character with a will of her own. A beautiful, strong capable woman. She is very smart and she has the most gorgeous, sparkling eyes as well as her beautiful green hair. She is shy when you first meet her but once you take the time to get to know her she is quite fun to be around. Lorna is a woman who will stand up for what is right and won’t let anyone get in her way. She is also a friend to the X-Men. Polaris is easy to talk to and she’s a good listener! She’s very strong and hides a lot of her true feelings. She’s also a survivor who endured the worst. Lorna will always remain loyal to her fellow mutants. So much to describe her characterization during her past 50 years and counting. This is how I view her as a true fan. I thanks to @marvelentertainment for keeping her as long as they did and will continue to. I couldn’t be more grateful. With all that being said, I will gladly congratulate Lorna for striving through the most difficult moments of her life. Happy 50th Anniversary Lorna. She became GOLD.
