If I were casting an animated Marvel series, Khary Payton would be my favorite choice.
He has the perfect mix of:
effortless confidence,
athletic charisma,
playful sarcasm,
emotional depth,
and the ability to make an initially arrogant character earn the audience's respect over time.
He could convincingly deliver both a line like, "Of course I saved the day. Who else were you expecting?" and, later in the series, a quieter moment where Morris admits that being forced to live through other people's lives taught him more than fame ever did. That range makes him an especially strong fit for the character arc you've envisioned.
