Deeply stupid question, but how are the birth kinksters finding each other? I know how I found people - because I remembered blogs I used to follow, or even old classic posts, and could search them up, re-follow, and then eventually train Tumblr to show me more inteconnected/related blogs - but with the kink tags not working, how are newer users being found/finding each other?
kink tags DO work somewhat. not entirely, but enough to get you at least started. every time you find a birth blog you like (clearly you already have found at least 1 birth blog since you are on my blog), go through and note everyone they reblog from and see if any of them are any good. when you find a post you like, open the notes and see if anyone reblogged it tagged "#birth" or something similar, and then go through that person's tag to see if they have found any posts that you haven't seen yet.
the birth kink community is a small one. there are only (very very approximately) a dozen or so blogs that i follow and go through regularly, and maybe another dozen or so blogs that aren't my taste that i don't go through regularly. it's very possible that the problem isn't that you can't find people, it's that there aren't many people to find. if you have a particular type of content in mind or a specific niche, and you aren't able to find someone who is posting that, my greatest recommendation is to just make the content yourself. that's what i did and how i got here. and i'm very glad i did :)
that said, here are some blogs i like (in no particular order):
labourink - mostly reblogs, willing to RP
thepregkeeper - mostly preg, but some birth too. mostly reblogs
exponenshul - blog that i found literally while i was making this list lol, apparently writes a lot of original medium-length stories about preg and birth
wellbredcatboy - mostly reblogs, somehow manages to find all the great posts, definitely a good place to start if you're looking to find more blogs
bulgingpushh - great for the kinkier side of things: tearing, medfet, incest, parasites, cnc/fictional noncon, tho generally untagged so proceed with caution. short form original writing + roleplay. mpreg
boyprxgg - medium length original writing, more preg focused than birth, but i honestly didn't even notice that until i skimmed thru his blog again to add to this list lol. generally if you like my posts you'll like his posts. underrated af. mpreg
endlessly-burning - short form original writing
angelbirth - infrequent but high quality original content
its-crowning - not insanely active but not inactive either. lots of original short/medium length writing. very good ideas, one of my faves. mpreg
screamingandwhelping - monsterfucking/egg/nonhuman focused birth blog, including sometimes long form. mpreg
bigbellybreedee - includes ovi sometimes; willing to RP. mpreg
flower-kits - big petplay enjoyer. willing to RP. trans preg
gravidy-falls - old man enjoyer, monsterfucking, ovi sometimes. mostly reblogs. mpreg
tumadmirer - mostly preg but some birth. mostly medium/long original writing + reblogs. gender neutral?
softroundbunny - mostly preg but some birth. good if you're into the softer or more aesthetic side of things
let-me-fill-you - preg, fat, and vore. genuinely dont remember if they post birth or not. but he reblogs some good stuff
whilefoolish - preg focus. mpreg
stupidlypregnant - birth, birth denial, preg. short form original content. mpreg
