Back at it again with another Tiana fanfic after months of silence
Biana is laying on one end of the couch with her legs on the back and her head hanging off the side. Tam was sitting in the other end of the couch with his head leaning against his hand.
The rest of the crew were out doing things on their own, so Biana and Tam had decided to hangout. They had just finished eating a plate of custard bursts that Della had made for them, and they had currently ran out of conversation topics.
They enjoyed a couple more minutes of comfortable silence before Biana spoke.
“So Tam, would you consider yourself good at flirting?”
Tam stared blankly at her for a few seconds. “Um, what?”
“Can you flirt?” Biana asked, hands above her head.
Tam felt his ears heat up. “I don’t think so, why?”
“I don’t know, I just realized that I’m not very good at it, especially around someone I like. It’s just so… awkward.” Biana said, stretching out her legs.
Tam blinked in confusion. His mind was racing, and he could feel heat spreading to his cheeks. “What?” He asked, his voice cracking.
Biana sat up on the floor and turned to look at Tam. “I just never considered myself good at flirting.”
“A-are you sure? Because I mean…” he trailed off, looking at her with wide eyes.
“I mean, I’m a mess whenever I try to talk to people I like, and I’m honestly almost always embarrassed. Haven’t you ever noticed how awkward I am?”
Tam just stared at her. “Honestly, I think you’re one of the smoothest people out there, and you always seem to be really confident. And I think you’re pretty good at flirting, at least in a subtle way that just kinda makes you really charming and fun to be around and…”
Biana stared at him with a blush on her face, “W-what? Really?”
Tam looked away and pulled at his bangs. “Yeah…”
“Wait, so you mean, my flirting’s been working?” Biana looked happily shocked.
“So, you were flirting with me!” Tam said, looking back towards Biana.
Biana tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. “Well, yeah.”
“Oh, good, I was worried that you were saying that you weren’t actually flirting, and honestly I was panicking because that would mean that I fell for you when you weren’t even trying.”
Tam covered his face with his hands once he realized what he had said. When he peered between his fingers to look at Biana, he saw that she was also hiding her face between her bent legs.
“Oh gosh, I want to scream. I feel like my chest is going to burst.” Biana said, looking back at Tam with a small smile on her face.
Tam sat down on the floor next to her. “Me too, I’m surprised I haven’t died yet.”
Biana giggled and burrowed her face in Tam’s shoulder. Tam wrapped his arm around her, feeling nervous, but extremely giddy. They stayed there for awhile, cuddling in the floor. Tam had eventually started playing with Biana’s hair.
“So, are we like, together, now?”
Biana pulled back to look Tam in the face.
“I mean, yeah, if you want to be.”
Tam grinned, “Yeah, I’d like that.”
Biana smiled and poked his cheek. “I’d like that too.”
