You trust books, you trust institutions who could be mistaken, you trust the reasoning of peers and most of all you trust what seems obvious. You trust your own reasoning.

Gaining knowledge is so important and whether you're right or not becomes clearer down the line when you're more accepting and open to information and corrections.

You will point out the holes in logic and you will trust yourself to fill them up maybe through reliable and credible sources that you trust are reliable and credible or the reasoning skills you have built over the years.
