This whole Ferran transfer saga/post World Cup fall out has been something. I still remain extremely disappointed at him for that right wing follow and apolitical stance post MSGA hat, and that will not change. I just think he still continues to be subject to unfair criticism and hate, especially regarding this whole transfer window and him literally just wanting to feel wanted, happy, and prioritized. That is not a crime. As someone who recently had to make a life changing decision myself between two jobs, I really empathize with him because my decision also came down to one job who was offering me more money with an immediate contract and a chiller vibe while the other one was going to make me wait another few months to draw up a contract; I also had some qualms about the culture at this place though the population served was more up my alley. You can probs guess what I chose. Idk maybe I'm so sensitive to his decision because I see myself in him and understand his decision. At the end of the day these are jobs, and you gotta go with what will put you and your family in the best position long term because football (and life for that matter) is ruthless. I wish him the best, and over all some real character development but idk. It's tough.
