i dont agree with outdoor cats but i gotta admit the fact me and my roommate can fondly talk about local cats like theyre our beloved neighbours is pretty cool. do i know any of the humans who live in my neighborhood? not particularly. do i know the little tuxedo cat with the pink collar who recognises the ice cream truck music and comes out to get pets from all the kids? of course they're a local celebrity to me.

Autistic men are somehow horrible at all social norms except misogyny

it's hard to digest ANY media nowadays bc everywhere i look, there's sexism that ruins the show or franchise for me. I want to turn my brain off and turn on something stupid like the big bang theory for background noise but every episode is some blaringly sexist garbage, like calling women slaves, and i notice this in everything i watch. I'm done with tv and fandoms everywhere

so apparently trans women fought for the lgbt community to have our rights and threw the first stone and everything… but are also helpless puppy girls that need women to make them feel included because they can’t do shit for themselves 🙄

I think you have to be a woman first. You can't be gay first because gay men are misogynists. You can't be a religion first because religious men are misogynists. You can't be any race first because all races can be misogynists. You can't be an immigrant first because immigrant men are misogynists. I struggle to think of any marginalized group where the men aren't capable and willing to be misogynists.

"good luck babe" continues to haunt me everywhere I go

Those videos of men trying "period cramp simulators" annoyed me back when they first became popular circa 2015 and they still annoy me to this day. How can you simulate something your body is quite literally incapable of experiencing? You don't have the necessary organs to do so! I'll never know what it's like to get kicked in the balls because lo, I've no balls! And it's not like periods produce a continuous, steady pain limited to your lower belly. Sometimes it feels like being stabbed in the arsehole. Sometimes your vulva hurts too. Sometimes it feels like you're being stabbed, sometimes it feels like your uterus is being shredded to ribbons. Sometimes you get crazy lower back pain. And nausea. And migraines. Some women pass out from the pain, which definitely requires medical attention, but it's common enough. And there's the very, very special case of women who expel it ALL in one go and apparently it's painful as hell. How do you simulate that? What about ovulation pain, then? Those dudes would look straight into the camera and go on some spiel about women being sooo strong and sooo brave for enduring that amount of pain every month. Is that supposed to make me feel seen, understood, appreciated? So condescending...
