Has it really been a week since I posted the first chapter already? Time sure flies! Once again big thank you to everyone who commented. You guys are the best and make me want to post the whole fic all at once. But that would be no fun for me. This chapter is a bit on the shorter side, but one can only handle so much Alice Cooper at once. Hope you enjoy :)

7x20 gave us a clear Bughead soulmate edit, and I am running with it. Mostly canonical, but I took matters into my own hands when I felt like it.

When Alice announces her sudden visit, Betty only has two options. To tell her mother that her relationship, with a boyfriend that never existed, suddenly ended or to find someone who will pose as the boyfriend for a week. The first one was never really an option and there is only one person who matches the fake boyfriend’s description.

riverdale was fucking insane and drove me crazy week to week, but it was so much fun in the heyday. theorizing and writing fic and celebrating the good moments. despite the insanity, it’s been so wild and so good to have experienced it with all of you and i’m grateful to this batshit little show for bringing us together.
