Is it just me or does each year seem to be flying by faster and faster? 2017 is almost over and although I have been much quieter this year on social media, a lot of personal and professional changes and restructuring have been going on behind the scenes. I started this year by taking time for myself, and that truly became the theme all throughout. And I have been so lucky to be surrounded by the best family and friends anyone can ask for, not to mention my amazing clients who have been nothing but incredible. So now I am racing against the clock to finish a mountain of work and start the new year with a clean slate, ready for new projects, new websites (yes they will actually be launched this time!) and a new outlook on life. Last weekend was a busy one, and with an intense storm brewing for the wedding I was shooting on Saturday, I was ready with my plan B just in case. Then Montreal decided to be Montreal and have construction and traffic and festivals blocking and delaying everything to ensure that my plan B wasn't even possible to do. So I had to improvise with plan C... which turned out even more amazing than I could have imagined because on our way to plan C, we were invited by a sweet and generous homeowner to make use of her property to take wedding pictures with our bride and groom, and what a property it was!! It was truly a gift and an honour to have access to a location we would never imagined being able to visit! It makes you think twice when things like this happen.
