Cleaned up Boba-saur

BOBA BOBA SAURRR Boba-Saur used Sweet Scent  ..it was supper effective...  sigh.. I want boba...

Nia did a face-plant while doing a photo-shoot (I’ll post those pics later) so I decided it was time to repaint her.  Her face-up before was quick and sloppy so I wanted to take my time and do something nice for her. 

Now, my mom wanted to toss him and laughed at me when i wanted to keep him. When I said I was going to repaint him and she asked “is he going to be covered in blood?” Why yes.. of course he will.  It wasn’t a long process. I did start by trying to remove his paint and GLITTER but it wasn't coming off. So I went to paint him all over and smooth him out with spray paint.. (the only one I had- I might add- was green XD ) The green was bad though.. it did it’s job, but man.. he wasn't meant to be green.  So I hand painted him with black acrylic and showed him to people to see what color they wanted to see him in. Most said blue or snow... Sooooooo both XD. I kept most of his black and added turquoise accents to his scales.The bottom was flocked in while to add snow. Of course.. blood was last, lots of it.  This trinket is only about 3 to 4 inches tall. Its made of resin and the original paint job wasn’t the greatest.. which is sad.. there’s a lot of detail and work that went into making this guy. It’s sad that he was broken but now he has some story to him and a bit of flair.  Anywho, hope you guys enjoyed this repaint. I should come up with a name for him...

When my male BJDs want to be traps

When people don’t adjust their BJD’s eyes... I would say that I’m at fault for this too, but when I got Airi her eyes were so big, there were no whites- only the deep, dark void of her hatred.... probably 100% worse

can we just take a moment and look at this bundle of cute-ness. This is being put to the top of my wishlist.

when I get tired of making orders I test myself on making regular things. The past few days it’s been messenger bags.  The first one was a Zelda one in test fabric- it’s a bit slouchy and the strap is too wide. The second is for Dark Souls. I love how the gold turned out. 

While Nia still has a face-up I wanted to say: This mint (glow in the dark- yes.. she glows *_*) Hujoo Freya is only available at Junkyspot and is a Limited Edition. I really love ABS dolls. They’re not as fragile, I dont have to panic about them yellowing, their just as hefty/sturdy as resin, and they’re cheaper <3 I’m actually getting a Fallindoll/Hujoo Rose soon. She will be my fourth ABS doll. I also have a Hujoo Baby Suve and a Hujoo Io (their SD with rubber joints). I’m a bit conflicted about whether I should get an MSD from them. While my Freya and Suve came from Junkyspot, I ordered my Io direct from Hujoo as well with my Rose, she will be coming direct again. They’re both awesome to work with and handle issues. I know it’s scary to order from overseas but my Io was preordered at first release with Amie and they both arrived within a few months and in great condition. Now.. I’ve gotten curious and want to see what this faceup looks like in the dark....

Nothing quite matches the feeling of face-up failure.. I wasn’t even done with the first layer when I just knew I didnt like how it was turning out.. It’s not at all how I wanted her to look. She will be wiped clean and repainted soon.

My first repaint of a Bratz doll. There’s still room for improvement for sure. I’m working on making a pattern to fit the Bratz’ head for a wig. They’re a weird in-between of a 5-6 and a 6-7 :x

It’s finally getting cooler here and I have my shop reopened~ My poor Freya needs more attention. Such a cutie *_*

It was pretty funny that when we were out a few weeks before she was looking at this sweater ornament and asked me “is this doll sized?” I never would’ve imagined that I would have a lovely bjd that my mom picked out herself. For that reason this will always be a very special doll.  I’m a bit swamped and also ran out of MSC, but as soon as I get back on track I hope I can get this doll painted and named.
