Five streets were destroyed, over 100 private houses were damaged.

500+ people have already been evacuated from the danger zone in the city.

20 wounded have been hospitalized, three in serious condition. The majority of casualties are in Bucha district, with injuries also reported in Boryspil, Brovary and Fastiv districts.

12 years ago, when I was 13 my life changed forever because at that time Russia invaded part of Ukraine. Before that I have only seen war in books and on TV and now it was in my country. It was terrifying but I was able to live with that because it was still far from home.

Until 4 years on this day I heard the first explosions and felt it shake my house because war came to my city as well.

I was 21, I was going to finish university in a few months and finally start my life. I had plans to reunite with the love of my life that summer, marry and start living with him in the apartment I got just a few days before. Instead I was forced to abandon everything, my belongings, my plans, my future and run.

4 years later nothing got easier, I feel like my life is on pause. I feel uncertain about every day, I don't feel like I belong in the country I have to live in, I can't enjoy anything to the fullest, I can't have fun. Everything I do feels like a distraction. And I'm still terrified.

I'm scared to think of what my life will become if Ukraine loses but I just know it will become even worse. A lot of people are thinking the same thing but from home where they hear sirens and explosions every day. A lot of them are children.
