11. Who is the biggest supporter of their relationship... and who is their biggest hater?

KALIM HANDS DOWN. he is the number one supporter of the jamiyuuri agenda 😤 Biggest hater would definitely be the canonical circumstance around Jamil's burden as the eldest son of the Viper Family.

22. What is each of their ideal date night ideas?

Why go out to a restaurant when Jamil is the chef, meal, and vibe combined into one? 😤 It wouldn't technically be a date night since they aren't technically dating NRC but I'd probably consider their late night conversations as dates (— ᴗ —) Whereas post-NRC, I do see them as the type to want to go out and try out new things. Jamil, due to his desire to travel and imo to have new experiences (which I can relate to as well so this a personal hc im sorta inserting here), and Yuuri who is technically not from TW so she would want to explore more of TW too. But I also see them enjoying a night in when they're both tired from the hustle and bustle of the day which isn't really different from their late night conversations back in school, there's just an added layer of domestic intimacy to it now.

Hi anon! Thank you for the question, I don't find this question in particular weird 🙂‍↕️

But knowing how much of an overthinker Jamil is, he would be more stressed about the pregnancy than Yuuri and he's not the one carrying the baby smh 💀 So yeah I can absolutely see him being the one nagging and growing gray hairs making sure Yuuri is following a strict plant to ensure her health optimal the entire nine months.

4. What drew them to each other?

If we're talking about first meetings, it doesn't really change much from what happens in canon! Yuuri thinks Jamil is really pretty but doesn't think more about it because she has other things to worry about, and Jamil takes note about this nothing special lackey for Crowley as a potential pawn for his future plans of total world domination taking over Scarabia. However, with the post-OB dreams.... Yuuri understands to some extent what's its like to be told who you’re allowed to be before you even know yourself. She doesn't know how to fix that and she isn't so idealistic to think she can. But she knows what it would have meant to her to have even one place where you don’t have to hide. So she wants to offer that space and get to know who Jamil is past his mask. It is a struggle though because Jamil is actively avoiding her because she's literally seen him at his worst, and using all the excuses and tricks he can because his pride and dignity are in tatters. But that leads me into B5 where I do hc that this is where the both of them get into the habit of having late night conversations (and because of forced proximity due to the whole VDC training camp thing lol). Jamil is still trying to avoid her...until a bug threatens him and she has to rescue Ramshackle from death by fireball 🙂‍↕️ The conversations are hella awkward at first before it mellows into actual conversation with the occasional snips at each other. Actually one of my upcoming JamiYuuri art projects is draw the progression of their relationship through these moments but without dialogue! (✿◡‿◡)

9. Are there any AU ideas involving them that shake up their dynamic or story?

Ummm....uhhh does the...does the recent bad end route AU idea count? (ノωヽ) Otherwise I haven't fully fleshed out other AUs. Like on my mind are TWST x Fire Emblem, TWST x HSR, and TWST x Pokemon but I haven't found an anchor point, so to speak, to fully make a post that still respects the characterization and nuances of the TWST cast. Which is a me thing so alsdjskljgl;sdg

3. How did each realize they had feelings for the other? (I.e. the "oh no... I actually have feelings for them" moment)

For Yuuri, I would imagine its probably when she feels more willing to share more about herself with Jamil, of her own volition. Some keen eyed folks have noted that she's rather quick to deflect when talking about her past when asked ^^ Whereas she's more open to talking about her homeworld in general. It's one thing to sit in Yuuri's mind and watch her come to terms with her experiences growing up, and it's an entirely different experience to voice it to another. It's Yuuri coming to the realization that she's okay with trusting this piece of her to another person. Whereas for Jamil, is this feeling in my chest heartburn? /j I would think its when she becomes a part of his routine without him consciously realizing it. He'll complain about how much it messed up his schedule to go out of his way to do this and that when actually at some point he's already integrated her into his jam-packed schedule lolol It's the way he's fine saying out of pocket shit with her because he doesn't have to worry about social hierarchy with her. But I do think it would take him longer to actually have the realization. Drawing a little bit from my own experiences growing up, I doubt he had a lot of time or encouragement to focus on the growth of his individual self; because of his circumstances, there was probably more focus on his duties attending to the needs of everyone but himself. He's also a notorious overthinker so he's probably trying to rationalize his actions too. So maybe what happened was him having a conversation with Najma who was ready to knock him in the head with a vase🧍‍♀️/hj

10. How do friends/family of each character view the relationship?

Just given what we know about Najma and her relationship with Jamil, I feel like she would be so happy for her big brother and excited to have a someone to shit talk about Jamil to lmao sister. I haven't thought too much into how Jamil's parents would react but in an AU where the Viper family are freed from serving the Asims, I would imagine they'd be more open to Yuuri. Stern perhaps and a little cautious (because she really is a person who literally came from another world and has nothing to her name), but I would hope they trust their eldest son's judgment. Otherwise in a more canon au, I almost feel like Yuuri would be fighting Jamil and his family. Jamil because he'd be vehemently against dragging her into his family's circumstances, and his family because there seems to be implications in the Scalding Sands that social hierarchy is quite important so I would imagine his parents would also want someone of credible status or worth to marry into the family. Not to mention Jamil is the eldest son and I would think he feels duty bound to marry someone appropriate. On a more lighthearted note, I'd like to imagine Grim trying to give Jamil his version of the shovel talk but adds that he'll take it on easy on him for the promise of food LOL
