*waves* Hey guys, my name is Ashlyn.

I’ve been around simblr since the early sims 3 days, previously going by @bemykingofthesims and @lynannsims.  Back when I played sims 3, I was known as that simblr who used all the bright colors and who started the colored bars in posts trend. In 2016, I retired from the simblr community, choosing to focus on my schooling and career.  Through all of this time, however, I have found I have truly missed this community, remaining a longtime lurker.  As I’ve continued to play the sims throughout all of these years, I’ve decided to come back with a new blog, ready to share my sims and their stories with all of you ♥

Outside of the sims, I am currently a third year medical student, on my path to becoming a pediatrician.

I also love to play Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and I may occasional share my screenshots of Maplebrook and its villagers here, as well.

My other hobbies/obsessions include Harry Potter, painting (both acrylic and watercolor), playing the flute, and watching a good show on Hulu/netflix/Disney+.

Cookie has been with me since my first nook mile ticket island and I will definitely miss her. She is lightly gifted (she’s been here since beginning April 2020), but if anyone is interested in taking her, please let me know. She’s an absolute sweetheart 💕

I want to mourn her and celebrate her and thank her for everything that she did, all the decisions that she made that helped me grow up in an America where I was safe to pursue all the things I wanted. 

Instead the first emotion I felt wasn’t sadness, or humility, or solemnity. It was fear. Chill down the spine, tears in the eyes, heart racing, muscle clenching fear.
